Who are you?
You are a friendly, upbeat individual with a full understanding of cannabis, cannabis sales and the cannabis industry. You are interested in selling cannabis to dispensaries in Corvallis, Albany, and along the Oregon Coast. You have prior relationships with intake managers and bud tenders in the mentioned areas and over two yeas of experience in cannabis sales. You have a reliable vehicle, valid drivers license and insurance and a valid OLCC Marijuana Worker’s Permit. You are able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Compensation
Our sales position is part time. purely commission based, with the ability to make up to $30,000 a year depending on how well you sell.

2+ year cannabis sales experience in Oregon

Clean driving record
Must be at least 21 years old

As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for supporting CASTUS clients by developing relationships with potential growers, retailer and distributors in the cannabis industry. Through a measured and strategic approach, CASTUS identifies business targets in markets that best meet our clients’ business development priorities. The Sales Representative will act on behalf of CASTUS clients, and will be responsible for developing pitch materials, engaging with prospective buyers, closing sales, and managing new account needs. Candidates will be expected to manage accounts across multiple geographies when necessary.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Establish relationships with new accounts and serve as main point of contact on behalf of CASTUS clients
- Manage and support multiple accounts including but not limited to quarterly goal setting, item setup, maintenance, demand planning and order processing
- Close new lines of business and grow current lines of business through a strategic plan, outlined in collaboration with CASTUS management and our clients
- Maintain sales pipeline that identifies and tracks sales leads, new opportunities, expected close dates, etc. and utilize reporting to share progress and adhere to goals as outlined by CASTUS and client
- Assess goals and optimize strategy to achieve maximum opportunity for clients
- Develop pitch materials and present products to potential buyers
- Potentially negotiate competitive pricing structure for clients to maximize profits
- Plan and negotiate programs on behalf of clients, including merchandising, marketing, and advertising opportunities
- Analyze and report sell through information at the customer level
- Forecast anticipated sales for clients, by product and buyer
- Other responsibilities as assigned from time to time
Requirements:
- Experience in cannabis industry strongly preferred
- Must have exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Must have sales experience opening new accounts and “cold calling”
- Must have a proven track record of successful client service and account management
- Must have strong ability to develop “pitch materials” and present to prospects
- Should have strong negotiation skills
- Should have proven methods for developing strategic growth plans and measuring results
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time is preferred
