SUMMARY: Reporting to the facility manager, this position will have the overall responsibility for all farm and facility compliance operations with a strong focus on the farm over the next 8 weeks. This position will work with the CEO and Executive Team to achieve overall objectives of the company.

Track Trim logs daily

Contacting Metric or OLCC with compliance issues to maintain transparency with government agencies
Accurate record keeping through regular inventory scans/reconciliation
Reporting of inventory numbers as requested by CEO / executive team
Manage Safety Committee and Safety Plans for Farm Operations
Government agency liaison in cooperation with Halo Safety Officer
- OSHA, any other applicable government agency, i.e.: fire Marshall
Lead Farm Safety Training sessions in cooperation with Halo Safety Officer
Manage Regulatory Compliance Issues and Required Trainings for Farm Operations
Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues
Coordinate with different department leads managers and CEO to review/ update compliance policies
Perform periodic audits on company farm procedures and processes
Other Duties as Assigned
Requirements:
- 2 years METRC experience required.
- Farm METRC, at least have one harvest experience
- Knowledgeable in OLCC Rules and Regulations
- Follow company rules and state guidelines
- Identify ways to improve the processes
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age
- OLCC Marijuana Handlers Card.
- HS Diploma or equivalent, Associates or College degree would be ideal.

METRC AND TESTING ANALYST
Pincanna is a vertically-integrated cannabis company with headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Pincanna has a 135,000 square foot cultivation and production facility in Pinconning, Michigan, a retail location in Kalkaska, and planned retail locations throughout Michigan.
Pincanna is hiring a Metrc and Testing Analyst to join the compliance team. This person will help the Metrc Team Lead keep all plants tagged and organized, in accordance to MRA rules. They will also liaison between Pincanna and the laboratory testing services and help coordinate the samples that must be tested.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize Tagged Plants and Tagged Packages, under all grow licenses
- Create and manage package tags from cultivation events
- Complete audits for all plants and packages in every growth phase in METRC and update accordingly
- Follow established procedures for creating packages when necessary and applying physical and virtual tags to those packages.
- Liaison between cultivation, processing and the laboratories.
- Ensure all samples sent to testing follow the appropriate documentation and compliance procedures
- Work cross-functionally with operations and leadership to inform and stay abreast compliance implementation and accuracy.
- Administrative support ranging from updating sales sheets, taking photos of harvested product, coordination of R&D testing, managing cultivation related product inventory, etc.

Summary:
Our company is looking for a METRC Specialist/Data Entry Analyst to join our large-scale farm’s office. METRC stands for Marijuana Enforcement, Tracking, Reporting, and Compliance. METRC is a web-based state-mandated tracking and reporting software to chart chain of custody of all marijuana and marijuana-infused products from seed to sale. A METRC Specialist will be efficient in working with multiple departments and staff members that are utilizing the METRC system. Candidates will be versed in all METRC procedures to prevent errors and loss through expiration, diversion and other issues related to commercial cannabis handling and processing.
*In order for you to be selected as a candidate you will have experience in a fast paced work environment, be comfortable with dynamic change, and are able to take initiative with strong problem solving skills. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Entering all state and county required inventory data for all plants and packages on-site from nursery to distribution licenses.

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing facility is operating in compliance with all state and local ordinances, rules, and regulations. This position will cover all rules and regulations required to conduct normal business operations as well as the state and local rules and regulations specifically relating to licensed cannabis manufacturing. The Compliance Analyst will report to our CFO / COO, and work with all departments within our manufacturing facility. The Compliance Analyst will be the primary controller of our METRC account and will ensure that our internal IMS parallels our METRC manufacturing account. You will assist with METRC implementation and maintenance for all manufacturing/production operations. You will also be responsible for maintaining the physical and digital compliance archives for our manufacturing operation/activities ie: scanning and reviewing documents: Batch Production Records, Cannabis Waste Records. You will ensure SOPs incorporate the necessary compliance components and are being followed on-site, keeping the company in compliance with all rules and regulations, keeping cognizant to most cost-effective and efficient compliant processes are in place.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and Manage our METRC account and ensure all production activities and movement of goods is captured properly
- Assist with METRC Implementation in conjunction with our internal IMS
- Assist with training in compliance records specific to each production department
- Manage the implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures throughout the operating units
- On an ongoing basis assist with periodic checks to ensure all employees are performing processes/procedures accurately and the company is in compliance
- Conduct an SOP audit to ensure SOPs match current on-site procedures; which special attention to production and inventory control
- Identify necessary modifications to current processes and procedures, changes, and new processes and procedures depending on compliance regulations
- Document all changes into training manuals and SOPs
- Manage the internal compliance function, including inventory and audit controls
- Monitor compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness
- Create and maintain compliance checklists for all business units
- Monitor state and local laws pertaining to operations and ensure compliance with such laws and update compliance documentation and processes as legislation and regulations change
- Work with functional leaders to ensure they are properly informed of changes to regulations, policies, and procedures in their respective areas
- Identify issues, analyze current business methods and provide suggestions to ensure the company maintains compliance with local and state laws
- Send reports to management with current compliance issues, recommendations, and regulatory updates
Preferred Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associates required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in compliance in related industry
- Preferred 2-3 years of related experience in a regulated industry such as cannabis, healthcare, biotech, tobacco or pharmaceuticals
- Experience with IMS / WMS is required
- METRC experience is highly preferred
