The Extraction Supervisor is responsible for taking product and using company methods and procedures to extract cannabis oils to be produced into our concentrate line. Also supervise the quality, sampling and final stages of production in the C1D1 and C1D2 environments. The Extractions Supervisor is responsible for the continued training of employees in maintaining quality standards, safety, compliance, sanitation, and cleanliness. All policies and standard operating procedures must be followed at all times to ensure the safety of all employees. The Extraction Supervisor is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.
Essential Duties
Procedures
- Produce shatter, wax, decarbed oil and Distillate for edibles and topicals according to company procedure and quality.
- Record all extraction data using the Extraction Hash Counters.
- Work Environment
- Adhere to all work safety requirements including but not limited to lifting, bending, and move up and down ladders throughout shift.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools and related equipment to ensure the MIP is well maintained.
- Keep doors closed when not in use.
- Wear protective clothing/PPE when working with plants, solvent and Hash oil.
- Before exiting the facility remove protective clothing and ensure that there is no cannabis on your personal clothing, shoes, or hair.
Product Quality
- Ensure that all extraction products are consistently prepared according to SOP's and compliance standards.
Equipment and Safety
- Operate ETS equipment and LSE equipment safely according to company procedures to produce end product for our infused line.
- Perform daily safety checks and preventative maintenance.
- Participate in weekly safety meetings to stay up to date on all Safety Rules.
- Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following preventative maintenance programs.
- Employee will be expected to perform a successful respirator fit test once onboarded to the Extractions department. Respirator fit test recertifications will be performed on a yearly basis and must be passed each year in order for the employee to maintain their position within Extractions.
Systems
- Provide leadership and direction to departmental employees to ensure the effective use and management of systems. Think in terms of operational effectiveness, accessibility, security, and scalability.
- Information learned in the Extractions Department is proprietary and confidential.
- Any techniques or processes learned in the Extraction Department are the property of Livwell and are not to be shared or disseminated to any other individuals or departments.
- Failure to comply may result in disciplinary actions up to termination from the Company.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Work with management to assure all steps are being taken to assure company compliance with the Marijuana Enforcement Division.
- Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.
Other Duties
- When all scheduled work is complete, the supervisor will assign duties as needed such as deep cleaning the MIP, detail extraction equipment and assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work such as trimming, bagging, harvesting and packaging.
Supervision
- Works under the direct supervision of the Manager of Extractions.
- Ensure that individual and team performance meets the Company's standards of service and quality.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
- Provide effective leadership to employees to ensure a complete understanding of and alignment to the Company's vision, mission and values to maintain a positive work environment and a high level of morale.
Job Qualifications
Work Experience
- One to three years of work experience in a related industry or work environment.
- One to two years of lab experience preferred.
- Previous Growing/Extracting experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication capabilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of how to work with and dispose of highly flammable gasses.
- Knowledge of Extraction procedures (water, alcohol, Co2, Hydrocarbon).

Purpose
This position is responsible for managing and directing the Processing department with effective leadership and coordination to achieve the weekly objective, while simultaneously developing the department to continuously improve and progress. This role is responsible for managing and supervising the Processing department team members, Concentrate Packaging Machine, supplies, and packaging, organizing, and preparing the shipment of the variety of SKUs for the company. The Supervisor of Processing role must lead and participate in their job with professionalism and safety, consistently. The Supervisor of Processing will report to the Senior Manager of MIPs. This role will support the Senior Manager of MIPs to supervise and manage the Processing department, while working in cohesion with the other Processing departments to achieve the highest level of compliance and accuracy for Marijuana Infused Products.
Essential Duties
Leadership Procedures & Tasks
- Managing and delegating staff to achieve the daily and weekly objectives of the Processing department to serve the company's mission to package and prepare for exportation of a variety of products.
- Ensure the proper execution for all aspects of the department including management of the employees, directing and management of the operation and packaging of all Concentrate and Edible SKUs, accuracy and organization of company packaged SKUs in the MIP, management and planning of the exporting of company packaged SKUs, and maintenance and upkeep of the automated machinery.
- Supporting the Senior Manager of MIPs towards all departmental progression of packaging and distribution, along with the contribution and participation towards the planning and organizing of exporting all company related products.
- Managing, delegating, and training the inventory system to maintain complete compliance and consistent organization. This role is responsible for the training and development of the team member's ability to operate and report in the inventory systems, such as, CounterPoint, METRC, and Google spreadsheets.
- Assist with providing effective leadership to employees to ensure a complete understanding of and alignment to Delt's vision, mission and values to maintain a positive work environment and a high level of morale.
- Ensure all compliance requirements are met including facilitation of the immediate adjustment of practices to accommodate the dynamic changes that regularly occur. Ensure the organization and accuracy of the concentrate/edible batches of product being packaged and organized for shipment.
- Ensuring all staff are following company defined protocols. Enforce all company policies and regulations.
- Manage employees, including planning, assigning and directing work, examining performance and conducting evaluations, coaching, supervising, disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members to ensure daily work, productivity, and quality goals are met.
- Assist in establishing initial and ongoing training for employees to ensure an adequate level of understanding regarding guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Monitor employee attendance, time off balances, time off requests, and all other attendance related processes.
- Perform employee reviews annually.
- Work collaboratively with all Delt's employees and business partners. Bring any and all safety, security, and packaging concerns forward through the proper channels including and not limited to the Senior Manager of MIPs, Safety leadership, Compliance leadership, Security leadership, and/or General Manager of Operations.
- Assist with developing and managing projects, including defining project scope, resources and achieving deliverables on time and within budget.
- Ensure effective and appropriate communication with team members to increase team unity and operative flow.
- Determine daily prioritization of all tasks by collaborating with the Leads of Processing and Senior Manager of MIPs in an effort to maintain a smooth organization and productivity. • Facilitating appropriate adjustments in planning to any unforeseen changes. • Planning and managing schedules for cleaning of all equipment, supplies, machinery, and production areas.
- Responsible for prioritization, completion, and documentation of all tasks performed by the Processing department employees as instructed by the Senior Manager of MIPs. • Executing all paperwork in order to keep the Processing department staffed and up to date in the timecard software.
- Update and track all required information daily.
- Must plan and delegate constant supervision of team members to ensure all work is being done properly and efficiently, in accordance with our SOPs.
- Facilitating the work of the Processing department employees, by providing answers to questions, as well as providing them with the tools and resources they need to perform their tasks. • Clear understanding of workflow throughout the MIP Processor facility.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager of MIPs and General Manager of Operation.
Workspace and Material Maintenance
- Plan and carry out through the support of Senior Manager of MIPs to guide and train Processing department members to maintain proper organization of the Processing area.
- Ensure upkeep and maintenance of the automated machinery through participation, practice, training, guiding, and disciplining accordingly to achieve.
- Manage the communication and reporting of unsatisfactory concentrates and edible SKUs and packaging concerns with the Senior Manager of MIPs.
- Manage and support leadership with efficient productivity and teamwork when setting up machinery and equipment for operation and taking down and cleaning machinery when operation is complete, along with supporting the start of shift through end of shift within the MIP department.
- Ensuring that sufficient supplies for the Processing department are ordered and available. Management and coordination of supplies with the Purchasing department.
- Direct and support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area.
Compliance and Reporting
- Plan and carry out the managing and guidance to have the department follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
- Oversee and support the organizing and securing of all METRC tags, labeling on containers and shipments. Oversee and manage the proper reporting of all inventory to sustain compliance and company systems.
- Responsible for proper training of Data Technicians and employees packaging to understand how to perform roles compliantly.
- Manage, coach, and discipline any improper action of compliance regulations. • Development, management, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for the Processing Department.
- Update and track all required information in spreadsheets daily.
- Monitor and address situations which may result in improper labeling and packaging, minimizing concentrate/edible loss.
- Managing and coordinating the instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be addressed and reported to the Senior Manager of MIPs.
- Working with the Analytics department to organize and manage packaged company products efficiently and accurately.
Supervision
- Works under the direct supervision of Senior Manager of MIPs.
- This person will be asked to manage and supervise the Processing department.
Job Requirement
- This position is expected to manage and supervise the employees of the Processing department to perform duties at a highly productive and efficient pace, consistently.
- To apply for a new position, employees must have served within this position for at least nine months before submitting the Grow Transfer Request form to the direct supervisor.

Purpose
This position is responsible for compliantly organizing starting materials in METRC, NAV and Google Sheets for the Extractions, Kitchen & Processing Packaging Teams. This position is responsible for accepting all manifests coming into the Processing Facility, ensuring that the transfer was completed compliantly digitally (in Metrc & NAV) and physically. This position is responsible for assigning products to their proper NAV rooms & Metrc locations based on product type, packaging status and testing status, as well as physically placing products into their assigned areas. This position is responsible for entering infused products such as edibles, topicals and concentrates into NAV and METRC in a timely, efficient, accurate and compliant manner. This position is responsible for adjusting and creating packages in Metrc and NAV. This position helps with assembling sales orders and manifesting these in Metrc. This position requires a high attention to detail and a more advanced working knowledge of Google Sheets, NAV & Metrc. This position provides regular and timely communication with Compliance, Quality Control/Assurance, Analytics, Extractions, Kitchen, Processing Packaging and Supply Chain management as well as team members within those departments.
Essential Duties
Data Entry and Systems
- NAV data entry & adjustments for Processing Department products.
- METRC data entry and adjustments for Processing Department products.
- Google Sheets data entry and adjustments for Processing Department products.
- Acceptance of Metrc manifests.
- Combinations & conversions of packages within Metrc/NAV/Google Sheets.
- Regular use of Google Sheets.
- Assignment of production batch tags for product ready for testing.
- Creating child packages for compliant distribution.
- Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented, and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.
- Validate data provided from Processing Department Production Teams.
Compliance and Auditing
- Ensure company compliance with the local and state regulations.
- Assist in physical audits of products and verification of data in Google Sheets, NAV and Metrc.
Other Duties
- Assist other teams to meet production and compliance goals as needed.

Supervision

Job Qualifications

Job Summary
We are seeking Processing Technicians who will be responsible for safely and effectively filling, packaging and labeling our cannabis products.
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
- Cross-trains on and working alongside with the Processing team with the weighing, and packaging of PharmaCann's broad cannabis product line
- Cleans any/all production areas to ensure no cross contamination occurs
- Follows the SOP's in regard to documenting your daily work on daily recap sheet
- Follows appropriate control measures to prevent mixing of cannabis strains and batches, and/or weights of batches Aspires to learn the components of the plant
- Performing his/her duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industry Carrying out all weighing and packaging operations in an efficient manner that also complies with all GMP's, OSHA regulations, PharmaCann SOP's and all applicable required procedures
- Ensuring 100% compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures Performing in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed PharmaCann's specifications and patients' expectations. Such quality assurance work and reporting shall include but not be limited to:
o Recording and monitoring process conditions to ensure compliance to standard operating procedures o Proper weighing, data recording, and batch tracking throughout PharmaCann's process
- Continually strive and work with the remainder of the Production Team to improve PharmaCann's processes for improved patient safety, quality, and efficient manufacturing
- Assist in monitoring processing supplies and inventory
- Train and pass test on Food safety certification
- Assists in the Formulation area with the filling and capping of all formulated products.
- Assist with food production
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Provide coverage in the warehousing and cultivation departments, as business needs require

Qualifications
