We're looking for a reliable and experienced Cannabis Cultivation Manager to help support our team. The successful candidate will have a background in indoor cannabis grow operations and enjoy working in a fast-paced and innovative work environment. The Cannabis Cultivation Manager is responsible for oversight of the plants from mothers and clones all the way through post harvest processing. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in building efficient cannabis production systems, increasing yields, has strong attention to detail, curious and critical thinking skills, a desire to be flexible and patient, has a strong understanding of quality as well as tracking and tracing systems, and has excellent communication skills both verbally and digitally.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
*Direct and oversee employee activities for all operations including propagation, planting, fertilization, cultivating, irrigation, harvesting, drying, product processing, and record keeping.
*Develop and adhere to cultivation schedules to ensure plant health
* Ensure plants are receiving proper illumination, irrigation, nutrients, pruning, pest and disease control.
*Oversee proper techniques related to cultivation; transplanting, pruning, defoliation, watering, feeding, and harvesting.
*Schedule harvest of plants based on cultivation schedule and plant maturation.
*Manage variety planning and production based on sales, extraction, medical, recreational, and product needs.
*Ensure that product is compliant with all relevant regulations and meets all standards established by the state of Illinois.
*Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and traceability of plants, including plant counts, both physically and in Bio Track, and correcting plant inventory discrepancies immediately.
*Adapting and updating SOPs for cultivation and post-harvest processes, enforcing strict adherence throughout the facility.
*Assist with calculating production yields and determining areas of improvement for each harvest.
*Ability to monitor, oversee and control company resources to include coordination of people and resources
*Ability to plan and organize specific objectives and prioritize
*Facilitate and oversee inspections using inventory and compliance audits.
*Monitor and develop inventory systems for stock of cultivation supplies, inputs, equipment and work with Procurement to order supplies.
*Oversee tracking compliance in Bio Track
*Collaboratively work with with other departments to help develop cohesion and education of the cultivation, strains, harvest, and drying processes
*Ability to anticipate problems, troubleshoot and problem solve. Consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate resolutions, review related information to evaluate options and implement solutions.

This position is supervised by the Cultivation Center Director who is responsible for efficient operation of the Cultivation Center. The Kitchen Manager will work independently to make medical cannabis infused products; both edible & topical. Manager will be expected to do extensive research in order to develop quality medicinal cannabis products. Manager will be required to accurately maintain inventory.
Duties and responsibilities
- Master recipes of existing products
- Develop new recipes as requested
- Order necessary ingredients and products
- Track and maintain inventory of products made with a controlled substance
- Handle multiple tasks/duties at a time
- Supervise kitchen associates
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen at all times
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure that all appropriate staff sanitation licenses/certificates are current
- Be aware of upcoming expirations of staff sanitation license/certificates and remind staff to renew

This full-time position is supervised by the Greenhouse Manager, or his/her designee, and is responsible for assisting with the operation of the Horticultural Program Activity Areas. This position will also assist in the day-to-day operation of the greenhouse facility as well as the greenhouse’s associated buildings.
Responsibilities include assisting in standardized work measurement/time studies, cultural practices, overseeing deadlines, marketing, production/contract lay-out and work flow, shipping and receiving, quality control, inventory control, contract transportation, and customer relations.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
- Shall train and assist individuals served and others as assigned to grade flowers according to size and appearance characteristics.
- Shall train and assist staff, individuals and others as assigned in the packaging, storing and delivery of customer orders.
- Shall train and assist staff, clients and others as assigned in the propagation, growing and harvesting of horticultural crops and products. Gardening techniques such as transplanting, weeding, grading, packaging, and grafting, etc. shall also be included in these responsibilities.
- Shall insure and/or assist in the proper and safe operation of monitoring of timing and metering devices that control frequency, amount and type of nutrient applications; regulate humidity, ventilation, and carbon dioxide conditions; and dispense herbicide, fungicides, and pesticides in conformance with specifications.
