Spray Booth Products (SBP) is in need of an ambitious, hard working, people and relationships savvy Account Manager. We are looking to split our current main territory into two, and bring in an additional Account Manager to take over 1 of those 2 territories.
At SBP we sell, install and provide ongoing maintenance services for all kinds of Mechanical Equipment, Air Movement, and Fire Suppression systems. Our customers are auto shops, manufacturers, restaurants, cannabis facilities, and more.
Our Account manager will be responsible for maintaining, curating and nurturing a healthy book of business within our established sales territory. You will be the point of contact for dozens of accounts, making sure that they receive excellent products and services on a weekly basis year round, and helping us to expand our service and product offerings to each of those accounts.
To be successful at this job, you'll need to develop strong, close relationships with key points of contact at each of our clients. You'll be expected to visit in person, tour their facilities, learn about their business needs, and follow up regularly to maintain and expand the relationship. Follow ups will be both in person and via phone & email.
Our company is in transition from 1st to 2nd generation ownership; we have experienced strong growth in recent years. We are still small (a dozen or so employees), but growing steadily. We are excited to find someone who is both relationally capable and mechanically inclined, who enjoys the blue collar atmosphere we live in (while fully embracing the latest technology) and is excited to solve problems for our customers every day.
You'll be expected to work 40-50 hours per week, ranging between 7 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Business is local, so while you will be often on the road during the work day, we do not anticipate overnight travel for this position. Company phone and laptop will be provided, as well as gas card and/or opportunity for mileage reimbursement - company vehicle may be provided at a later date.
You'll need to be very comfortable with Microsoft Office, windows operating systems, Salesforce CRM functions, smart phones and email to thrive in this role. You'll also need to be excited about face to face interactions - this job cannot be done 100% remote or behind a desk. You need to get in our client's facilities and get to know them face to face.
If what you've read so far excites you, please apply today and let's get a conversation going!
