Job Requirements
- Six months to one year of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service required

Job Description
The Inventory lead has the responsibility for leading all inventory related processes at the provision Ctr. They are responsible for leading the Inventory Specialist team, ensuring accurate inventory counts and reporting, building, and improving inventory processes, and ensuring a constant availability and supply of inventory to the sales floor. The Inventory Lead is the Subject Matter Expert for all inventory and stock related inquires and applies strong attention to detail in the organization and record keeping of the stock room. The Inventory lead reports to the Store Manager and applies attention to detail to assist with inventory audits, ensure the accuracy of inventory records, and maintain appropriate inventory levels on the sales floor.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages receipt and transfer of cannabis product in and out of vault and/or the facility
- Completes required data entry (logging transactions, transfers, and daily intake/outgoing product) using company and state electronic record keeping systems to maintain compliance
- Ensure incoming product matches manifest description; escalate to management to ensure corrective action is taken when needed
- Counts, catalogs, and investigates variances for internal audits
- Maintains METRC compliance by verifying transfers, monitoring POS system inventory integration reconciliation, and maintaining accurate METRC inventory
- Organize and maintain backroom inventory areas for efficient material storage and handling
- Analyzes and monitors inventory adjustments
- Ensures proper classification and storage of inventory
- Implement and improve inventory best practices and standard operating procedures
- Counts, catalogs, and investigates variances for internal audits
- Guide Inventory Specialists and other applicable team members on store SOP's for intake, packaging, labeling and inventory tracking
- Ensures compliance with State and local regulations
- Supports compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety, rules, and regulations
Job Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma required
- Two or more years of work experience with inventory management in a retail setting required
- Asset management experience strongly preferred
- Cannabis industry-specific software experience preferred
- Role requires frequent lifting and/or moving of items up to or over 30 pounds
- Role requires mobility such as kneeling, stooping, and crouching
