DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *
As a Retail Lead, you will support and partner with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to motivate and mentor 10+ employees. You will be inspiring a team of great people committed to creating a welcoming environment and making Sunrise the #1 dispensary. - Work directly with internal customers and external suppliers.

- Manage the buying process, including building assortments based on historical and current product performance.

- Process purchase orders and work directly with vendors on delivery and follow up.
- Coordinate with inventory team, management, and warehouses as needed.
- Partner with Marketing, the Regional Product Analyst, and the Allocation team to meet product launch strategies and promotional activities.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the business.
- Negotiate pricing with vendors to protect margins and support promotional activity.
- Identify opportunities to drive sales and margin increases to maximize the business.
- Review business daily, weekly, monthly, annually, developing appropriate initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS *
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Prior buying experience preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with a variety of personalities at various seniority levels
- Must possess excellent people skills and be able to communicate effectively with others in both verbal and written form

Job Description
The Assistant Dispensary Manager is a full time role and will be responsible for assisting in leading successful operations of the facility. This role will be key to maintaining the organizational values of Sunrise, ensuring all procedures and processes are followed, driving performance and fostering a team focused on providing exceptional customer service. Duties will include but not be limited to the following;
- Provides support for all dispensary employees, including schedules, training, policy and procedures implementation, facility maintenance, weekly observations and feedback of staff and performance improvement
- Assist with the ordering and receiving of all inventory and products, all menus are up to date and all products displayed properly
- Assist with maintaining up to date records and ensuring that all operations are in compliance with local and state laws
- Works closely with Dispensary Manager on employee development and contribute to fostering an environment of collaboration and communication
- Assist in developing, communicating, and implementing strategies to leverage company resources, reduce costs, and grow business
- Assist in communicating business priorities and aligning team to meet goals and objectives
- Protect Sunrise assets and minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operating procedures are met, including workplace safety, inventory control, compliance and loss prevention
- Be proficient in, and ensure compliance with Sunrise policies, regulations adherence, procedures, and compliance standards
Qualifications:
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Able to obtain a Missouri Medical Marijuana Agent Card
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- Must have understanding of hospitality practices and leadership principles
