Job Description
The Dispensary Manager is a full time role and will be responsible for the successful operations of the facility. This role will be key to creating and maintaining the organizational values of Sunrise ensuring all procedures and processes are followed, driving responsible financial performance and fostering a team focused on providing exceptional customer service.
Duties will include but not be limited to the following;
Operations
- Meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators as specified by Sunrise and drive customer loyalty
- Responsible for the ordering and receiving of all inventory and products, all menus are up to date and all products displayed properly
- Responsible for maintaining up to date records and ensuring that all operations are in compliance with local and state laws
- Oversee and monitor weekly auditing and reporting requirements
- Develop, communicate and implement strategies to leverage company resources, reduce costs and grow business
- Communicate business priorities and align team to meet goals and objectives
People
- Foster an environment based upon communication, teamwork and engagement
- Attract, hire and retain a diverse dispensary staff
- Ensures the delivery of exceptional customer service through training, employee engagement and active leadership
- Provide support for all dispensary employees (including schedules, training, policy and procedures and facility maintenance).
Facility Management
- Protect Sunrise assets and minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operating procedures are met, including workplace safety, inventory control, compliance and loss prevention
- Be proficient in, and ensure compliance with Sunrise policies, regulations adherence, procedures, and compliance standards
Qualifications:
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Able to obtain a Missouri Medical Marijuana Agent Card
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- Must have business acumen and understanding of financial retail principles
- Able to walk and stand for long periods of time, bend and lift over 50 lbs. comfortably
- Must be able to work a varied schedule including nights and weekends
- Knowledgeable of the Medical Marijuana industry and medical marijuana products
- Must be able to speak English fluently; additional languages preferred
- 3 years prior retail management experience including P & L responsibilities
- Proven ability to meet performance goals and metrics
- Ethical and conscientious individual who leads with integrity
- Must be an excellent communicator

- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of all surfaces at point-of-sale areas and the dispensary facility.
- Accurate and timely data entry of patient and/or customer profiles.
- Knowledgeable of medical cannabis products and retail environments
- Assist in facilitating the flow of traffic within the dispensary

Position: Fulfillment and Inventory Coordinator
Team: Inventory and Logistics
Reports to: Director of Inventory and Analytics
General Summary:
As the Fulfillment and Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing incoming orders, adjusting inventory in our systems and support our sales team with delivering a smooth ordering process to clients. This position plays an integral role in assuring that all of customers receive their orders in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner. This position is also involved with daily inventory intake and uploading and communication with the sales team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- *Monitor LeafLink for orders placed online.
- *Assist outside sales in creating orders in LeafLink as needed (training provided).
- *Physically verify inventory to fulfill orders and create delivery boxes for orders.
- *Coordinate with third party transport on METRC transfer manifests (training provided).
- *Assume role of Point of Contact for sales support email/phone answering questions from buyers and coordinating with the accounting department.
- *Monitor inventory environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement in order to provide coaching to the team and take action to achieve operational goals.
- *Manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes culture, values and the culture of Sunrise.
- *Ensure accuracy in labeling and all product information.
- *Work directly with manager to compare inventory to records or compare numbers from purchase invoices.
- *Assist with product count to ensure accurate inventory records.
- *Partner with management in investigating inventory discrepancies.
- *Responsible for State and Local legal compliance by auditing and verifying inventory counts as they relate to METRC.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Proficiency using MS Office applications.
- Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of
effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain a Missouri Agent ID card.
- Detail oriented with an eye on process optimization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high stress situations, and to be
flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.
- Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 10 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above.
- Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day. Must be capable of working in front of a computer for extended periods of time based on job duties listed above.
- Ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities and a strong sense of urgency multiple projects , such as; priorities and meet deadlines, strong conflict management skills.
- If necessary, ability to work 7 days per week (including holidays) and to be flexible with schedule.
- Cannabis experience strongly preferred.

The Assistant General Manager will assist the General Manager in leading daily operations of our facility. Job Description
The Assistant General Manager is a full time role and will be responsible for assisting in leading successful operations of the facility. This role will be key to maintaining the organizational values of Sunrise, ensuring all procedures and processes are followed, driving performance and fostering a team focused on providing exceptional customer service. Duties will include but not be limited to the following;
- Provides support for all dispensary employees, including schedules, training, policy and procedures implementation, facility maintenance, weekly observations and feedback of staff and performance improvement
- Assist with the ordering and receiving of all inventory and products, all menus are up to date and all products displayed properly
- Assist with maintaining up to date records and ensuring that all operations are in compliance with local and state laws
- Works closely with General Manager on employee development and contribute to fostering an environment of collaboration and communication
- Assist in developing, communicating, and implementing strategies to leverage company resources, reduce costs, and grow business
- Assist in communicating business priorities and aligning team to meet goals and objectives
- Protect Sunrise assets and minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operating procedures are met, including workplace safety, inventory control, compliance and loss prevention
- Be proficient in, and ensure compliance with Sunrise policies, regulations adherence, procedures, and compliance standards
Qualifications:
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Able to obtain a Missouri Medical Marijuana Agent Card
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- Must have understanding of hospitality practices and leadership principles
- Able to walk and stand for long periods of time, bend and lift over 50 lbs. comfortably
- Must able to work a varied schedule including nights and weekends
- Knowledgeable of the Medical Marijuana industry and medical marijuana products
- Must be able to speak English fluently; additional languages preferred
- 1+ years prior management experience including payroll responsibilities
- Proven ability to meet performance goals and metrics
- Ethical and conscientious individual who leads with integrity
- Must be an excellent communicator'

Position Summary
The Director of Retail will be a key member of the Company’s management team. They will be responsible for the overall strategy, management, operations and financial performance of five medical cannabis retail stores. This person will help establish and implement standard operating procedures and policies to ensure that the business maintains compliance with all laws and regulations and that the business is being operated in a way that is consistent with the Company’s mission and vision. The Director of Retail will help build, train and inspire a team that will be our differentiator in offering patients an industry leading customer experience.
Job Responsibilities

- Maintain knowledge of supplier capabilities, latest products and trends in order to effectively manage product mix and product selection being offered in the dispensaries
- Evaluate, create and maintain all implemented Standard Operating Procedures for retail operations
- Manage compliance across locations. Ensure the business is operating in accordance with state rules laws and rules and industry best practices
- Ensure all key business functions such as compliance, security and HR are being implemented effectively and consistently across locations.
- Ensure best practices are effectively communicated and implemented across locations
- Institute and oversee training initiatives for employees
- Drive patient and physician education initiatives
- Maintain current awareness of latest technology and vendors that could enhance operations and/or patient and implement as appropriate
- Manage community impact strategy including charity, volunteerism, education etc.
- Receive and provide constructive criticism effectively without ego or blame in order to advance the organization
- All other reasonable assigned duties
Qualifications
- Simultaneously managed more than one cannabis dispensary. Additional experience in specialty retail a plus.
- 3+ years of progressive cannabis retail and operations management experience
- Managed a team of at least 15 people in a retail setting
- Strong written and oral communication and business reporting skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated experience and abilities in project management
- Demonstrated experience and abilities in strategic planning
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Word / PowerPoint and Google Docs / Sheets / Slides
- Proficient in at least one cannabis Point-of-Sale software system, cannabis State Inventory Tracking System, and/or a cannabis marketing software system
- Exceptional attention to detail
