Looking for Compassionate, Inspired, Ambitious Employee
Job responsibilities include all aspects of processing of in-house grown medical cannabis into finished manufactured products for dispensing to medical patients under the supervision and instruction of lab personel, examples include but are not limited to:
- Preparing, weighing, and documenting materials for extraction
- Performing cannabis extraction
- Post-processing of extracted cannabis into final product stage
- Cleaning extraction equipment and organizing materials
- Data entry and maintaining detailed records for regulatory compliance
- Packaging and labeling of products
Compensation: The compensation is based on experience. Extraction Laboratory Assistant
Green Gold Group is a rapidly growing producer of premium medical cannabis. We are expanding our state-of-the-art hydrocarbon extraction laboratory and are seeking a laboratory assistant to support our extraction scientists. The successful candidate is a dynamic, hardworking and reliable person, able to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors.
Job Description:
Perform laboratory maintenance and auxiliary tasks to assist in production of various cannabis concentrates and distillates.
Essential Functions:
- Work with laboratory manager and team to produce high quality concentrates.
- Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments such as vacuum ovens, filtration, rotovap, fume hood, and balances among others.
- Assist in product filling, packaging, and labeling.
- Keep accurate manufacturing records and follow SOPs.
- Clean and sanitize laboratory glassware, instruments and equipment.
- Follow compliance for tracking of biomass, products and waste.
Competencies:
- Ability to follow and adhere to strict protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively within the manufacturing department
- Ability to maintain a sanitary work environment
- Organizational skills and multitasking
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with medical cannabis and similar products Moderate lifting and carrying (25-50 lbs); heavier weights with assistance.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. May require bending, climbing and work on elevated platforms (not more than 5 feet high).
- Must be a team player
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Successful criminal background check required for all applicants.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This is a lab position and will require movement thorough the lab in order to complete duties. Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for the stocking, cleanliness and compliance of the laboratory.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 1-2 years related experience and or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Laboratory Experience highly preferred
