About the role:
Our dispensary retail associates provide an excellent customer experience with individualized service to all dispensary visitors. The dispensary retail associate is responsible for serving both patients and adult-use customers in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a consultative role requiring a basic knowledge of cannabis products and the variety of consumption methods to assist customers in their purchasing decisions. The dispensary retail associate is expected to be a team player and work efficiently without sacrificing quality of service.
What you’ll be doing:
- Operating a POS system to process transactions.
- Fulfilling in-store and online orders for pick up.
- Acting as a resource for customers to answer questions about products and methods of consumption.
- Assisting customers and patients in their selection of products for purchase.
- Participating in weekly inventory counts.
- Labeling and stocking product for sale.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.

The Downtown & D2 Dispensaries are seeking flexible, enthusiastic and highly organized multi-taskers for our Dispensary Retail Associate position. We are dedicated to providing excellent customer service on every visit in an efficient and friendly manner.
Our full-time Dispensary Retail Associate position is responsible for individualized service for each adult customer that visits our store. This job pairs unparalleled attention to a customer’s needs with ongoing inventory maintenance. Each Dispensary Retail Associate focuses on one customer at a time in a fast-paced retail setting.
A typical day consists of all of the following duties:
– Greeting customers and providing a personal experience by maintaining and building positive customer relationships
– Maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for all customers
– Dedication to helping Arizona’s adult customers find the best products for their different needs
– Managing a POS system, fulfilling in-store and online orders
– Contribute to the team effort by completing tasks as assigned
Necessary skills and qualifications:
– Basic product knowledge; must be familiar with the variety of methods used for cannabis consumption
– Strong math skills for cash handling
