Curaleaf Cultivation Associates are responsible for executing production plans in keeping with the Company's operating procedures for indoor and outdoor cultivation. Cultivators carry out the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the Cannabis production cycle. Company operates under the highest standards of professionalism. You are responsible for employee training and development, along with ensuring the quality and quantity of all products. This Cultivation Associate posting is designated to our Propagation Department.
Responsibilities
- Works with Cultivation Manager to plan for growing activities that are consistent with planned production schedules
- Prepares space required for planned production
- Cloning: cutting, rooting, and transplanting; clone care, watering, and feeding; clone monitoring and climate control; labeling; and inventory data input into the state-mandated electronic tracking system
- Monitors growing conditions and reviews changes in humidity, moisture, and temperature and cultivation procedures to ensure conformance with quality control standards
- Inspects crop to ascertain conditions such as leaf texture, bloom size, and the existence of pests or disease; removing substandard or diseased plants to maintain quality standards
- Plant monitoring and care during flowering phase: trimming and staking; big leafing and pruning; plant care, watering and feeding; plant monitoring and climate control; pest and disease control; inventory data input
- Harvesting: cutting plants; trimming cut plants; removing flowering tops; weighing and inventory data input into the electronic inventory tracking system
- Curing: hanging and dry-racking flowers; monitoring curing process and climate control; labeling; weighing and inventory data input.
- Preparation and packaging of all cannabis products will be needed during peak times; including extraction products
- Operating and maintaining cultivation systems/equipment: monitoring, calibrating, running, and maintaining lighting, irrigation, climate control, and other cultivation systems; stocking and handling production inputs and supplies; sanitizing and cleaning growing areas, cultivation workspaces, and tools
- Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to; state compliance, security protocols, and access protocols.

Requirements
- High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Knowledge of growing technologies, such as lights, irrigation, soil, nutrients, and more
- Knowledge of different strains and their unique growing demand

POSITION OVERVIEW
- The Cultivation Propagation Associate is responsible for supporting and assisting the Propagation Supervisor(s) and Manager in all aspects of cannabis plant management within the department. This position will be responsible for all parts of clone propagation, including mother plant care, health evaluation of stock plants and clones, while ensuring all strains grow according to company standards. Priorities include super cropping, topping, feeding, conducting rooted cuttings, acclimating rooted clones for transplant into production rooms, and transplanting stock plats while maintaining the environmental conditions of the clone room(s).

This position works as part of the cultivation team, performing a variety of organic farming related tasks as directed, including but not limited to;  planting, weeding, watering/irrigation, pest management and harvesting.  Must be able to lift 50 lbs.,
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *other duties may be assigned. * 
1. Assist with pharm production, by actively working in each area as directed, i.e. preparing medium and plant flats, applying fertilizers, irrigating, weeding and harvesting crops as directed. Recognize apparent crop disease or pest problems and bring to attention.
2. Assist with optimal harvest yields, by following harvesting and processing instructions including but not limited to; picking, separating, cleaning, drying, and evaluation of crop quality of each strain according to established procedures. Work with other crew members to ensure proper post-harvest handling and timely delivery of all harvested crops.
3. Work under the direction of the grow manager to assure adequate irrigation of all crops. Work with other members of the pharm crew to install new drip and misting systems, and adjusts system(s) as needed.
4. Ensure safe and efficient use of hand tools and small power tools by reading and following operating instructions at all times or ask questions of crew leader when in doubt on proper use of any tool.
5. Ensure safe-working conditions by following established safety procedures at all times, participating in all required safety training, and remaining aware of safety concerns. Serve as a good role model for co-workers by practicing safe work habits and supporting all safety guidelines.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with a variety of other tasks as directed.Willingly provides back up for other members of the pharm crew.
QUALIFICATIONS:  
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent; Familiarity with the cultivation of cannabis.
