Wemelco Industries is seeking a candidate to perform packaging and labelling of various liquid & solid materials, including preparing items for shipment and perfroming delivery activities as part of the company production operations. - Attention to detail in maintaining a clean and sanitary processing work space.
- Operate a pallet jack to move materials and finished product around the facility.
- Maintain proper utilization of Personal Protective equipment (PPE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and emergency response procedures (fire, medical, and theft)
Skills

The Lead Packaging Technician (LPT) supervises the departments daily activities which includes packaging and labelling various liquid and solid materials into final product forms and packaging materials including preparing them for shipment. The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory or packaging experience and will very detail orientated when it comes to weighing, measuring, counting, and performing quality control of the products, along with proper data recording and management. Additionally, the successful candidate will have good troubleshooting and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
· Supervising packaging employees and workflow
· Participate in managing packaging materials and their inventory control
· Package a variety of product types and formats, including but not limited to vaporizer cartridges, as quickly and efficiently as possible
· Label, obtain, move, and sort products and orders accurately
· Spot and remove defective products before they are packaged into any finished order
· Clean and inspect finished and packaged products to ensure all proper specifications are met
· Properly document all work, using company forms and following company procedures
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Maintain all packaging equipment
· Requisitions of necessary materials and supplies for the department at large
· Willingness to perform special projects as assigned
Education & Knowledge:
· High-school degree or equivalent
· Understanding of cannabis processing and packaging operations
· Prior experience in manufacturing preferred

Inventory Manager
Salary: $20.00 p/hr

Wemelco Industries is seeking an experienced candidate to handle all aspects of inventory management at a busy Cannabis Product Manufacturing facility. A detailed understanding of all State regulations regarding the labeling and packaging of cannabis products and ensuring compliance in all aspects pertaining to the inventory are required.

Applicants will report to the Director if Inventory & Compliance and must be comfortable working in a highly regulated industry and adhere to all CCC regulations and shall avoid divergence of product. They must handle products and supplies with care and ensure that all SOPs and quality standards are being followed. They will perform daily, weekly and monthly audits and help support shipping and receiving activities, inventory reconciliation, and replenishment processes for all incoming non-cannabis deliveries. The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a fast paced environment, have an appreciation for cannabis warehouse operations, and enjoy working independently and on a team.
Responsibilities:
- Help support the inventory processes for all materials needed to support production and packaging
- Ensure that all inventory is accurately accounted
- Ensure product storage into the correct inventory location based on item categorization
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly inventory audits and reconciliations
- Help facilitate internal and external transfers of products in the facility with supporting documentation and record keeping
- Ensure that all records are being stored in an organized manner
- Suggest improvements to the processes in place to increase efficacy
- Report, monitor, and review inventory adjustments and changes
- Help support inventory transfers to all departments
- Serve as a resource for any inventory questions, suggestions and concerns

Wemelco Industries is seeking an experienced candidate to assist the Extraction Manager in handling all aspects of Cannabis Extraction and production operations.

As a Manufacturing Technician (MT) your responsibilities are the production of highly refined cannabis extracts for the legal market. Technicians work under the direction of the Extraction Manager to extract and refine cannabis under strict standard operating procedures. This position is a great starting point to enter the legal cannabis industry and become familiar with various processing methodologies. A background in production and preferably chemistry is recommended. Cannabis experience is not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
· Operation and maintenance of cannabis processing equipment such as hydrocarbon extractors, vacuum pumps and distillation equipment
· Execute processes according to standard operating procedures
· Document production in batch records
· Maintain cleanliness of production areas
· Weighing products and mixing solutions
· Transferring gasses and solvents between vessels, monitoring pressures and temperatures.
Education & Knowledge:
· Basic laboratory skills (weighing, pipetting, labeling, documenting)
· Basic mechanical, construction and/or shop knowledge such as the use of hand tools
· Team player who works cooperatively with others
· Comfortable in chemical environments with compressed gasses, solvents and reagents.
· Familiarity with safety protocols in manufacturing environments, such as personal protective equipment.
· Competency in algebra and arithmetic. Computer skills a plus.
Minimum Requirements:
· Experience in a manufacturing facility or laboratory (1+ years)
