The ideal candidate has a solid Marketing background in the Cannabis Industry managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing techniques, and consumer facing events. Our VP of Marketing will report directly to the CEO and will oversee an internal Marketing teams. To be successful in this role, you should be highly professional as you will also play a significant role in shaping the company’s strategic planning and contribute to the company’s long-term success.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness for B2B company.
- Design and implement all Digital Media platform campaigns including Website and Social Media.
- Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
- Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
- Communicate with Investors and Media representing the Company
- Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary
- Set current and long-term goals for internal teams
- Design and review the Marketing department’s budget
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO
- Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
- Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department
- Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a VP of Marketing, Marketing Director or other senior role within a Cannabis Company
- Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
- Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords
- Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
- Strong leadership skills

Chief Science Officer

Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the CSO will serve as the corporate technical advisor, oversee Lab operations over multiple sites, and as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team. The Chief Science Officer is responsible for managing the company’s scientific, technological, and research operations, while ensuring the company’s commitment to the cannabis industry and the environment.
Working with the leadership team, the CSO will define and implement the technology strategies across the suite of services and ensure that the teams, technology and systems are able to deliver on the Company’s promises.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee strategic research projects developing new processes/technologies
- Champion the launch of new capabilities and services with responsibility for analytical method research, development, and validation
- Providing technical and strategic direction to the Lab team, as well as interface with internal business partners
- Serve as the thought leader in cannabis testing, representing the organization at local and regional trade shows, seminars, presentations and speaking engagements
- Plan and execute operational strategies to deliver services and improve the organization's position within the industry
- Attend and participate in professional group meetings or continued education activities; staying abreast of new trends and innovations in analytical science
- Lead a team of talented scientists and Lab Techs, growing top talent and attracting top scientific talent
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ph.D. strongly preferred
- Highly accomplished scientific leader with a passion for research and a desire to make an impact beyond the lab
- Extensive(solid-state) analytical materials characterization and method development
- 10+ years of Management experience in a Certified Laboratory
- Collaborative team player, comfortable leading as well as executing projects
- Driven leader, comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, high-energy environment, able to meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to mentor and grow scientific talent
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, managerial, and written communication skills

Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for the distribution of our client’s products.
EXISTING CANNABIS SALES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify potential clients in the target market through cold calling
- Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
- Clearly communicate the value of our client’s products
- Plan and perform sales calls, appointments, and site visits
- Close sales by building rapport with potential client; explaining product, overcoming objections
- Negotiate contract terms with clients
- Create distribution schedules to ensure products are delivered on time
- Become a subject matter expert on our client’s business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
- Travel required (75% or more)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- CRM experience required
- Established sales and business connections to the owners and executives of premium licensed dispensaries
- Extensive knowledge of cannabis products is required
- 3-5 years experience selling business to business within the cannabis industry
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong persuasion and interpersonal skills
- Car required for travel to meetings with owners and vendors
