The Retail Associate conducts day-to-day operations within the retail location while adhering to company policy and industry regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a friendly, courteous and compassionate demeanor at all times
- Adhere to company mission statement and core values, while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism
- Provide outstanding, accurate customer service to patrons by answering or appropriately directing questions and concerns
- Lead tours of sales floor within the store, making product recommendations based on ongoing research of strains, cannabinoids and vendor-produced products available
- Maintain knowledge of all cannabis strain profiles, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls and accessories for sale in the dispensary, utilizing knowledge of how cannabinoid profiles and potency affect the body
- Retain thorough and comprehensive knowledge of patient and member benefits, discounts, coupons and promotions, encouraging memberships for medical guests
- Understand The Green Solution exchange policy, accessories manufacturer warranties, and how to facilitate guest merchandise returns to Lead Associate and Management
- Abide by product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies as well as regulatory agency compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store by stocking retail items and supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing
- Answer phone with scripted greeting, provide customer service, and accept TGS Express or Call-Ahead orders
- Accurately record phone and online orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Confirm accuracy of order displayed in POS (correct product, quantity and/or weight, RFID, Pricing, etc.)
- Verify correct use of MED-required packaging and labeling according to The Green Solution policy
- Operate cash register by using barcode scanner, computer-based POS system and cash drawer to process transactions, ensuring patrons and patients leave with labeled product inside of a state regulated exit bag with correct change and a receipt
- Adhere to The Green Solution security protocol and promote safety for patrons, patients and other Team Members
- Work as part of a team to ensure sales, guest satisfaction and that compliance goals are met by designated timelines
- Fill all time during scheduled shifts with productive, useful activity, including cleaning, stocking, researching, organizing or completing any other tasks to contribute to company success
- Adhere to all company uniform policy and preserve all provided necessary equipment
- Uphold personal hygiene to ensure safe interaction with patients, product and other Team Members

Qualifications Education

Summary
The VP of Retail Operations is primarily responsible for the effective performance management of all retail stores and General Managers and Assistant Managers. The VP of Retail Operations ensures that all retail facilities are operating in accordance with company policies, as well as local and state regulations. Additionally, the VP of Retail Operations will provide oversight for all retail facilities, ensuring inventory levels are above set par levels and that all retail facilities are up to The Green Solution’s marketing and design standards. Finally, the VP of Retail Operations will assist in owning and innovating the customer experience for their departments as they work closely with various business partners to deliver business results. Qualified candidates must have experience developing customer service experiences, developing/leading successful teams, a strong analytical and business background as well as a familiarity with technology and platform capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in representing the TGS retail interests to stakeholders and partners to include marketing, cultivation, manufacturing, call center, purchasing, facilities, S-Type, HR, Accounting, IT, etc.
- Pursue the role of being a trusted advisor to Executives, and the Leadership team, including providing active, timely, and objective consultations
- Create a talent pipeline in retail. This will include identifying and creating development opportunities for GMs, AGM, AMs, MITs, and Key Leads
- Able to reference broad base of experience and best practices to create innovative and competitive solutions to meet TGS Global retail goals
- Ensure retail locations are providing extraordinary customer service, including understanding customer needs and feedback, in addition to making key retail decisions
- Maintain a general awareness of cannabis and retail trends to create adaptive strategies
- Must be able to create, maintain, analyze, and interpret a system of reports and KPIs for the retail division in addition to making long- and short-term plans. This will include overseeing daily flow of orders and internal processes, inventory analysis, and forecasting
- Oversee and manage all aspects of new store openings
- Promote open feedback from the operations team with other departments to ensure the integration of the retail strategy with The Green Solution’s affiliate brands
- Translate strategic goals into retail operational plans to achieve the required targeted growth in sales and profit; identify and optimize promotional opportunities, ensuring these are coordinated with The Green Solution promotional campaigns
- Ensure that the retail operation complies with all policies and procedures relating to security, health, and safety; influence any changes necessary to meet state and company regulatory standards, guaranteeing minimum risk to staff members and the business
- Spend time in retail locations with retail teams, auditing teams, and patrons to understand and identify critical business issues; uphold the corporate identity of The Green Solution
- Build a strong sales management culture with the operations team; coach managers, identify skills and opportunities for development
- Provide advice and guidance in regard to management issues when needed, ensuring all issues are resolved and escalated through the appropriate Human Resources channels
- Proactively manage/review the performance and progress of Retail Managers; set objectives and target; work with training department to develop individual training plans
- Have a thorough, updated knowledge of all QSGs and Quick Connect materials, sharing with staff as applicable
- Liaise with IT for all POC/POS issues
- Participate in weekly General Manager/Assistant Manager conference call meetings
- Forecast staffing needs, including budgeting overtime hours and relaying overhead costs to CEOs as the overtime POC
- Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards; promote integrity
- Develop and implement strategies to retain a highly skilled workforce
- Ensure cross-functional alignment on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Our stores are where customers come to “experience cannabisâ€Â, and our Retail Associates are vital to delivering customer service, offering a distinctive shopping experience that drives sales results. The Retail Associate is primarily responsible for providing assistance to patrons and patients through concierge-level service, assuring anyone who visits a store leaves satisfied. Individual responsibilities as a Retail Associate include demonstrating outstanding customer service and sales skills, assisting with keeping the sales floor stocked with merchandise and/or organizing the sales floor and stock areas. The Retail Associate conducts day-to-day operations within the retail location while adhering to company policy and industry regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding, accurate customer service to patrons by answering or appropriately directing questions and concerns
- Lead tours of sales floor within the store, making product recommendations based on ongoing research of strains, cannabinoids and vendor-produced products available
- Maintain knowledge of all cannabis strain profiles, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls and accessories for sale in the dispensary, utilizing knowledge of how cannabinoid profiles and potency affect the body
- Retain thorough and comprehensive knowledge of patient and member benefits, discounts, coupons and promotions, encouraging memberships for medical guests
- Understand The Green Solution exchange policy, accessories manufacturer warranties, and how to facilitate guest merchandise returns to Lead Associate and Management
- Abide by product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies as well as regulatory agency compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store by stocking retail items and supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing
- Answer phone with scripted greeting, provide customer service, and accept TGS Express or Call-Ahead orders
- Accurately record phone and online orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Confirm accuracy of order displayed in POS (correct product, quantity and/or weight, RFID, Pricing, etc.)
- Verify correct use of MED-required packaging and labeling according to The Green Solution policy
- Operate cash register by using barcode scanner, computer-based POS system and cash drawer to process transactions, ensuring patrons and patients leave with labeled product inside of a state regulated exit bag with correct change and a receipt
- Adhere to The Green Solution security protocol and promote safety for patrons, patients and other Team Members
- Work as part of a team to ensure sales, guest satisfaction and that compliance goals are met by designated timelines
- Fill all time during scheduled shifts with productive, useful activity, including cleaning, stocking, researching, organizing or completing any other tasks to contribute to company success
- Adhere to all company uniform policy and preserve all provided necessary equipment
- Uphold personal hygiene to ensure safe interaction with patients, product and other Team Members
- All other job duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
Training
- Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Illinois Medical Marijuana Industry; Illinois Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Management
Required Skills & Experience
- Excellent computer, mathematical, language and reasoning skills
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Retail, operations and/or sales experience
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of Illinois marijuana laws, regulations, and CDPHE requirements; previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in IL licensed facilities

Summary
The Cultivation Associate is primarily responsible for the order, cleanliness, and efficiency of warehouse operations by performing labor work duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the quality of all manufactured products;
- Efficiently washes growing medium;
- Responsible for harvesting plants in preparation for processing;
- Properly grinds plant matter for disposal;
- Drains and re-fills reservoirs for daily swaps;
- Neatly places plants into net pots and buckets;
- Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse;
- And all other job duties as assigned;
- Handle, mix, and apply pesticides in a manner that is compliant with all WPS, CDA, EPA, and MED rules and regulations
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED);
Training
- Must stay current and adhere to all policy and regulations of the of the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED);
Knowledge
- Excellent computer, mathematic, language, and reasoning skills;
- Knowledge and familiarity with Cannabis strongly preferred;
- Familiarity with manufacturing procedures preferred;
- Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, and achieves results with little oversight;
