Cannabis Kitchen Tech-Gummie

The Gummie Kitchen Tech is responsible for the prep and cooking and bottling of cannabis infused candies in the edible kitchen department. The kitchen tech will help maintain and ensure compliance to kitchen schedule; monitor, safely and efficiently use equipment and supplies. Help maintain professional environment and improve efficiency process through incorporation of new technology.
Essential Duties include:
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment in the kitchen facility. Including complying with legal regulations and monitoring environmental conditions of the kitchen all while following GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Stock supplies, dispose of waste following regulatory guidelines, and keep work areas immaculate.
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safety when handling/disposing of cannabis, chemicals, and hazardous waste including.
- Adhere to the health and food safety practices as part of the beverage production line.
- Maintain strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used in the kitchen, track and accurately weigh materials and supplies. Also document production by completing forms, reports, and logs to keep records.
- Other duties as assigned.
Employee must have:
- Ability to communicate and speak and hear clearly.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn track-and-trace software Metric and Leaflogix as well as basic Microsoft Offices applications.
- Strong math skills along with the ability to adjust formulations to accommodate different recipes as well as reporting issues that could require remediation.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs as well as the ability to lift and carry hot liquids weighing up to 35lbs.
- Employee will be required to stand, walk, bend, stoop and reach while using hands fingers to perform task.
Education & Experience
- HS diploma or GED
- Previous kitchen manufacturing experience preferred
- Previous kitchen experience required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Pre-Role & Vape Processing Technician

The Pre-Roll & Vape Processing Technician is responsible for manicuring and packaging plant material and infused products. In this role, maintaining accuracy in weighing product, fulfilling product, labelling, and inventory is paramount. The Pre-Roll & Vape Processing Technician is also responsible for maintaining a perpetually clean workspace to provide a sterile environment for production of medical products. This person will also have some responsibility for tracking product on the company system to ensure compliance with state laws and program regulations. The ideal candidate has a relentlessly positive attitude, a strong work ethic, competitive and team-oriented spirit, and great attention to detail.
Abilities & Essential Duties include:
- Must have initiative and be self motivated
- Must be able to work well in a group setting or independently.
- Must have effective communication skills and well as ability to listen well when dealing with co-workers and supervisors.
- Must have ability to perform repetitive task with great efficiency over an 8 hour work shift while maintaining high quality.
- Must have a solid understanding of the laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.
- Ability to keep precise count of all packaged product and weight of product used for an accurate end of day reconciliation of packaged and remaining inventory.
- Ability to organize and package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance to state regulations.
- Ability to complete counts and reconciliations for state track and trace software.
- Ability to manage time efficiently to meet goals while maintaining consistency with product quality.
- Ability to maintain sanitation & cleanup of all processing throughout the day.

Physical demands include:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing, and perform repetitive motions
- Must be to sit/stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus
- Ability to lift /carry and balance up to 50 lbs (100 lbs w/assistance) and MUST be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and product.
Education & Experience
- HS diploma or GED
- experience processing medical cannabis or other highly desirable botanicals
- Must understand and comply with rules & regulations and policies and procedure.
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Must pass all required background and must be approved by DHSS to work in the cannabis industry.
- Must possess valid drivers license or state ID
