The Beverage Kitchen Tech is responsible for the prep, cooking and bottling of cannabis infused beverages in the beverage kitchen department. The kitchen tech will help maintain and ensure compliance to kitchen schedule; monitor, safely and efficiently use equipment and supplies. Help maintain professional environment and improve efficiency process through incorporation of new technology.
Essential Duties include:
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment in the kitchen facility. Including complying with legal regulations and monitoring environmental conditions of the kitchen all while following GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Stock supplies, dispose of waste following regulatory guidelines, and keep work areas immaculate.
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safety when handling/disposing of cannabis, chemicals, and hazardous waste including.
- Adhere to the health and food safety practices as part of the beverage production line.
- Maintain strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used in the kitchen, track and accurately weigh materials and supplies. Also document production by completing forms, reports, and logs to keep records.
- Other duties as assigned.
Employee must have:
- Ability to communicate and speak and hear clearly.
- Strong math skills along with the ability to adjust formulations to accommodate different recipes as well as reporting issues that could require remediation.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs as well as the ability to lift and carry hot liquids weighing up to 35lbs.
- Employee will be required to stand, walk, bend, stoop and reach while using hands fingers to perform task.
Education & Experience
- HS diploma or GED
- Previous kitchen manufacturing experience preferred
- Previous kitchen experience required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
