We are currently seeking a packager to add to our team, where you will be packaging and labeling finished products and preparing them for delivery to customers, in accordance with standard packaging procedures, while maintaining quality standards and efficient production. Our ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to track and complete multiple facets of product packaging.
JOB DUTIES
- Build boxes to package products.
- Place products in correct packaging.
- Apply proper labels and barcodes to products.
- Verify correct products and lot numbers for orders.
- Verify product quantities for orders.
- Follow company packaging procedures and standards.
- Handle inventory with care and attention to detail.
- Adhere to safety programs and OSHA compliance for a safe work environment
- Follow company safety policies and procedures, and encourage other associates to do the same
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Atleast 21 years of age or older.
- Two years of demonstrated experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar field preferred.
- Thorough understanding of state and local cannabis laws and how they apply to the packaging and labeling operations of PTS.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time-management and ability to multitask. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
- Proficiency in Windows-based software and point-of-sale (POS) applications a plus.
- Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for extended periods of time. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm
Starting pay: $12.50 per hour with an opportunity to increase to $14.00 after 90 days

SUMMARY
The Grow Tech provides on-site cultivation for one or more cannabis gardens by completing tasks assigned to monitor and maintain plant production and health in accordance with the State and company standards. This position is responsible for the organization, cleanliness, and the effectiveness of production areas and carries out day-to-day plant care tasks that includes watering, pruning, harvesting and trimming.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS NECESSARY
Knowledge of state cannabis law, medicinal benefits, and horticulture skills. Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task. Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift equipment or plants up to 50 lbs. for extended periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. Any satisfactory combination of experience and training that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the following duties. 
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Plant Care
- Pruning, topping, trimming, and analyzing plant health, as well as any other tasks required.
- Transplanting, loading, unloading, netting, and any additional work needed in flower rooms.
- Facility Cleaning
- Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of all cultivation equipment and tools, including light reflectors, containers, mixing tools, application tools, and ventilation equipment.
- Complete Reports and Documentation
- Document/record the application of all nutrient and/or substances applied to any plant located within the cultivation facility as well as environmental conditions.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUIRED
- Assist with research, communications, or any other assigned projects/tasks.
- Aid in maintaining all plants in the facility
- Communicate effectively with other team members. 
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and/or be capable of providing an assisted lift.
- Must adhere to strict biological security protocols to aid the efforts of preventing a pest or pathogenic contamination.
- Will be trained on aiding in the updating of production space documents that are reviewed by state inspectors to ensure compliance with the Illinois State Police and the Illinois Department of Agriculture for the Illinois Cannabis Program.
JOB SKILLS
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. Ability to make decisions as necessary with oversight when needed. Accurate data-entry and record keeping.

Operates with direct supervision from Chief Cultivation Officer, Lead Grower or Team Leads. Follows established policies and procedures and contributes to the development of new concepts, policies, and procedures as necessary to perform job duties and tasks.
