What you do every day on the Grow team is important to the quality of our product and our reputation with consumers and cannabis retailers. You will quickly become proficient at hand watering, the Noble Farms way, as well as all other Cultivation Tech duties and responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The Cultivation Technician is responsible for maintaining the high quality of live and harvested product while paying close attention to detail during the cultivation process.*What you will do:
- Clone, clean/sanitize cubes/pots, fill pots and transplant plants at different growth stages to prepare them for the flowering stage.
- Top, defoliate, trellis and prune plants based on instructions provided by management.
- Move plants from the vegetation to stage into designated flowering bays, space the pots according to the number of pots per bench, ensure irrigation stakes and emitters are placed correctly to ensure all plants are receiving adequate amounts of water.
- Weighs waste by specific bench and/or strain, dumps waste into blue waste barrels, and updates the waste tracking sheet.
- Harvests product; defoliated, hangs and organizes product by strain and batch.
- Periodically moves/rotates barrels and/or boxes to keep a consistent drying/curing process.
- Manually and/or by cart transport waste stems to the dumping area.
- Clear spots and waste out of the greenhouse to prepare for new planting.
- Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies and products throughout the work shift to make certain departments clean when customers, management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.

SUMMARY
The Grow Tech provides on-site cultivation for one or more cannabis gardens by completing tasks assigned to monitor and maintain plant production and health in accordance with the State and company standards. - Plant Care
- Pruning, topping, trimming, and analyzing plant health, as well as any other tasks required.

- Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of all cultivation equipment and tools, including light reflectors, containers, mixing tools, application tools, and ventilation equipment.
- Complete Reports and Documentation
- Document/record the application of all nutrient and/or substances applied to any plant located within the cultivation facility as well as environmental conditions.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUIRED

- Aid in maintaining all plants in the facility
- Communicate effectively with other team members. 
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and/or be capable of providing an assisted lift.
- Must adhere to strict biological security protocols to aid the efforts of preventing a pest or pathogenic contamination.
- Will be trained on aiding in the updating of production space documents that are reviewed by state inspectors to ensure compliance with the Illinois State Police and the Illinois Department of Agriculture for the Illinois Cannabis Program.

What You Will Do:
- Maintain greenhouse and aquaponics cultivation protocols and a precise nutrient regimen
- Perform all cultivation tracking and record-keeping functions within the seed to sale electronic system remaining in compliance with the department’s rules and regulations
- Must be competent in all cultivation tasks, as well as all responsibilities of the assistant grower, fertilizer and IPM tech
- Oversee IPM program including elimination of all types of mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, aphids, fungus gnats, etc.
- Adapt at industry best-practices and current on new techniques and insight with respect to nutrient of individual strains, high yield recipes, controlled stress environments to different lighting systems and set ups
- You must have a comprehensive knowledge of Cannabis.
- Participate with state and local government auditors and law enforcement with inventory, sales, and compliance audits.

- Responsible for independently managing the grow in a rotational schedule on weekends
- Work with Senior Management to plan and develop future production space

- Monitor growing conditions such as changes in humidity, moisture, air temperature, nutrient potency, and water temperature to meet quality standards

- Maintain inventory of cultivation supplies
- Maintain each crop completely through the curing and drying process

Qualifications Work Experience Requirements:
- Knowledge of plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies and toxicity
- Knowledge of the cannabis plant and genetics
- 2+ years agricultural experience (greenhouse experience a plus)
- 2+ years cultivation experience as a grower tech or equivalent
- Good understanding or mastery of all grow mediums (soil, coco, perlite, compost, etc.) and irrigation methods (hand-water, cycle watering, ebb and flow, flood and drain, and drip systems)

Colorado Alternative Health Care (CAHC)--the Western Slope's premier medical cannabis provider since 2009--is searching for a dedicated and qualified full-time (40 hours/week) Grow Technician. As a Grow Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and care of several different strains of medical cannabis plants and supporting grow equipment. Typical tasks include watering, mixing nutrients, trimming, harvesting, curing, washing pots, spraying, recording relevant information, and maintaining the general cleanliness and operational efficiency of the grow.
Qualified applicants must be able to lift at least 60lb (including while climbing short ladders), stand for long periods of time on concrete floors, and must not use tobacco products due to the potential for tobacco mosaic virus infection. We are seeking serious candidates who are genuinely interested in a career in cannabis cultivation, and who are willing to learn, follow direction, and work effectively as part of a team.

We are looking to add a new grow team member to our Locol Love family! We have a solid crew that works well together and is ready to embrace any hardworking and passionate individual. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in a commercial grow with perpetual harvests as well as being part of the seed breeding process.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Propagation of plants in every stage
- Cutting clones and transplanting
- Assigning tags to plants and keeping all strains separated and organized
- Trellising and defoliating plants
- Plant maintenance, including environmental monitoring and plant placement
- Assuring plant health by scouting to identify and prevent any potential issues with pests or herms
- Identifying, tracking and controlling insect-related issues using IPM practices
- Participation in all harvest operations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have a current Colorado Support or Key badge
- Must have a passion for growing cannabis
- Previous experience in a commercial facility is a must
- An eye for detail and meticulously organized
- Have high energy and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Desires to be part of a team
- Labor intensive position- must be able to lift 75 lbs+, stand, sit or bend for long periods of time
- Willing to work flexible hours with weekends if required
- Must have reliable transportation and good attendance
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 /hour

About the company: Alvarez Cultivation LLC, is a fully state licensed Class-C medical marijuana facility (grower and processor). We are family owned and operated. We were licensed by the state of Michigan in 2018, Located in Jackson County, MI. We operate a 25,000 square foot building. We are currently in application mode for our Recreational License!
Job Responsibilities: The Cultivation Specialist will assist the team on all aspects of production and harvest. This is an entry level position with room for growth. No experience required.
Assistant Grower-- Position requires Experience, knowledge of plants and some management experience.
Job responsibilities:

- Able to stand for many hours

- Stay productive while working alone
- Pass a criminal back ground check
- Maintain organization and a Clean work environment
- Work with small hand tools
- Mechanically inclined experience is a plus

- Able to work 35 to 45 Hours a week
