Overview of Position
The Security Officer monitors and authorizes the entrance and departure of staff, vendors, contractors, visitors, customers, and any other persons to guard against theft and maintain the security of the premises. This position reports to the Retail Manager. The successful candidate will possess attention to detail, the ability to work a flexible schedule and willingness to assist with other duties as necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities
The main responsibility of the Security Officer is to check in, escort as needed, and observe individuals and all customers and/or visitors within our facility. This position may also perform other duties related to the successful operation of the Company as requested by the Retail Manager.
Operational Duties
- Examine and verify the identification of persons wishing to access the facility
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property
- Ensure that all inventory and supplies are properly monitored at all times
- Document the time of arrival and departure for all non-customer visitors including, vendors, contractors, and any other visitors
- Distribute identification badges to all non-customer visitors and collect them at the end of the visit
- Monitor and review security cameras
- Maintain security footage securely and compliantly
- In the event of an emergency, secure staff, visitors, and building; act as liaison with local police or law enforcement
- Daily, maintain written or electronic tracking sheets
- Escort staff members or others between vehicles and the building as requested
Administrative Duties
- Maintains daily records of all visitors
- Document any incidents or accidents and report them to the Retail Manager

Position Summary

Position Summary
The General Manager (GM) will participate in the operational execution of the company’s strategy by managing specific hands-on aspects of the company and assisting the Company Board of Directors with the successful launch and growth of the vertically integrated cannabis enterprise in a rapidly changing environment. The GM provides the project management skills necessary to ensure that Nativa has the proper operational controls and people systems in place to effectively launch the business, grow the organization, and ensure operational synergy. The GM is responsible for delivering day-to-day results with a keen focus on cultivation efficiency and product quality control. The GM will work closely with the consulting firm that is heading the project on behalf of Nativa.
Essential Functions
- Work with the Company Board of Directors and under the guidance of the consulting team to develop strategies for implementing a vertically integrated cannabis operation
- Participate in project planning, including but not limited to branding, marketing strategy, budgeting, construction oversight, equipment selection and procurement, system installations, SOP development, and more. All tasks involved with becoming operational
- Implement various operational, marketing and management strategies while maintaining budgetary guidelines
- Work with team, overseeing various aspects of architecture design and general construction
- Meet with various vendors/contractors/etc. to ensure all work is being completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Assess critical needs of project, develop plans to address critical needs, and implement plans strategically
- Participate in the equipment installation and initial operation of cannabis cultivation activities including initial setup, genetic sourcing, propagation, production scheduling, plant care, harvesting, drying and curing of initial crops
- Assist consulting team in the creation, implementation and adherence to SOPs relating to all functions of the business including but not limited to cultivation, processing, packaging, product transportation, retail, and security
- Travel locally to ensure construction and project deliverables are accomplished
- Travel locally and nationally, as needed, to represent Nativa at conferences, meetings, and possibly engage in public speaking
- Ensure swift execution of the development of the enterprise as a whole, including the cannabis production facility and retail facilities
