The Staff Accountant reports to and works closely with the Director of Finance to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Performs daily and monthly accounting processes as needed including banking and expense transactions, tax preparation and filing, account reconciliations and verification of information with various reporting responsibilities. Assists vendors and employees when questions arise related to these areas.
Job Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable
- Daily entry of vendor invoices
- Reconciliation of vendor statements
- Bi-weekly processing of cash disbursements
- Account Reconciliations and Month End Close
- Record Fixed Assets to schedule and reconcile to general ledger.
- Maintain prepaid and debt schedules, perform monthly amortizations via journal entry.
- Complete assigned account reconciliations and investigate variances as needed.
- Management Reporting and Other
- Prepare and file several monthly tax reports.
- Perform various banking functions as needed.
- Maintain documentation and substantiation of all financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing monthly reporting package.
- Assist in completing annual budget process.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age with valid California Driver’s License.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years relevant work experience in the Accounting/Finance field.
- Experience with Quick Books.
- Experience with full ERP software such as SAP or JD Edwards a plus.
Required Skills
- Some knowledge of GAAP, accounting regulations, internal controls and best practices.
- Some knowledge of general ledger structure, month-end closing, and tax reporting.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel plus proficiency in Windows 365, and Google Suite.

Job Description
The Inventory Manager is responsible for all inventory and state track-and-trace duties and oversees a team of Inventory Associates. They ensure all inventory related duties are completed in A timely manner and adhere to the applicable standard operating procedures and compliance rules. The Inventory Manager is ultimately responsible for the daily management of inventory, including but not limited to receiving and processing vendor deliveries, organizing storage areas, performing counts and audits, reconciling stock levels, ensuring adequate product display levels, and compiling reports. The Inventory Manager must have a deep understanding of all relevant cannabis regulations including METRC, the state track-and-trace system. This position may require at least 1 overnight shift per month and reports directly to the General Manager.

The General Manager also develops strategies––inconsultation with the Executive Team––to optimize use of available companyresources for sales growth, customer retention and overall performance.
Job Responsibilitiesï‚· Oversee departmental management team.ï‚· Meet goals and benchmarks set by the Executive Team.ï‚· Ensure all policies, procedures, and standards are followed.ï‚· Ensure proper staffing and operational efficiency.ï‚· Provide training and guidance to key staff.ï‚· Implement and monitor cost controls.ï‚· Develop plans for upselling and turning over inventory in a timely manner.ï‚· Consistently review and improve operations.ï‚· Provide regular reports to the Executive Team.ï‚· Participate in meetings with and make suggestions to Executive Team.ï‚· Protect against loss in conjunction with the Security Team.ï‚· Work with procurement team to drive sales and schedule special events.
Basic Qualificationsï‚· Minimum 21 years of age.ï‚· Minimum 5 years of retail management experience in a high-volumeestablishment.ï‚· Demonstrated success of sales growth in prior work experience.ï‚· Ability to mediate interpersonal conflict.ï‚· Strong leadership skills.ï‚· Quick problem solver.ï‚· Excellent attention to detail.ï‚· Proficient in basic computer software such as Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualificationsï‚· Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related subject.ï‚· Experience with METRC.ï‚· Experience in a cannabis or cannabis-related field.
Physical RequirementsThe duties of this job require frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking,hearing, and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
