HASSSHH™ Director of Cultivation
Job Description
The HASSSHH™ Director of Cultivation is responsible for strategically and technically managing all aspects of HASSSHH™ cultivation operations including site designs, set-up, and execution.
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
- Develop and write cultivation SOPs ensuring compliance with NY State regulations and company policies.
- Design Cultivation facilities and coordinate with construction team to ensure project completion.
- Evaluate new technologies and techniques and implement them at cultivation facilities.
- Develop and set greenhouse and indoor grow facility environmental parameters and program/monitor automated greenhouse control software.
- Hire new Cultivation Managers and train on all aspects of Cultivation.
- Develop production schedules, work schedules and duties for nursery or greenhouse staff.
- Monitor production results regularly with Operations Managers driving team accountability for adherence to standards and product yield and quality, and responsible for addressing any deviation Approve crop-inputs and supplies for the
Grow Areas.
- Develop custom fertilizer recipes to optimize yield, plant health and potency.
- Set and implement integrated pest management strategies in compliance with state and company policy.
- Develop proper sanitation protocols of the Growing Area.
- Identify plant varieties to fit facility and market needs.
- Set propagation, germination and planting schedules for all crops and varieties.
- Coordinate clerical, record keeping, inventory and financial data.
- Explain and enforce safety regulations and policies
Qualifications
- At least 15 years experienced with leadership of a medium to large-scale commercial growing operation in a regulated cannabis program or horticulture operation with similar photo period plants
- Master’s degree in Agronomy, Plant Sciences, or Horticulture strongly desired; bachelor’s degree in related field required
- Leadership skills building teams in a highly collaborative environment
- Experience in developing advanced/custom fertilizer recipes strongly desired
- Experience in integrated pest management (IPM)
- Strong process management skills
- Skilled in working with technical experts
- Skilled in use of ERP, Excel and Database systems
- Skilled in use of horticulture automation systems - Argus, Hortimax or Priva or equivalent working conditions
Travel required up to 50% of the time

Essential Garden Project to grow harvest and distribute 100% organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs for the Tri-State Area. In addition, HASSSHH Growing Farms to cultivate, process, sale, and distribute various high quality grade brands of cannabis with multiple health benefits for medical and recreational use. MFE is seeking a passionate and driven Sales Development Rep (SDR) to join “Sssmashers” revenue team.
As an SDR with 1 – 2 years of experience developing qualified leads and meeting sales quotas, you will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities in the cannabis market for the regional Account Executives. The SDR will become a trusted resource, act as the initial point of contact for retail dispensary businesses to develop relationships with prospects through inbound and outbound efforts, and work with key stakeholders to develop strategies and tactics to create demand to exceed targets. The SDR will use effective communication skills to cultivate and nurture strong relationships with customers from the first contact and apply business knowledge to identify and qualify business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:
- Proactively source and qualify quality leads for the Account Executives
- Uncover & qualify prospective customer needs, understand business processes, determine requirements, and ascertain potential solutions
- Implement call scripts, campaign cadences, email pitches, and other outreach to improve leads generated
- Use our prospecting tools in order to accomplish goals and to efficiently capture team activity in the database
- Contact potential clients through cold calls, LinkedIn and emails
- Engage, nurture and convert leads into qualified opportunities
- Present our company to potential clients
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate solutions
- Schedule qualified leads for strategy sessions by Account Executives
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies to schedule targeted number for sales team (go above and beyond quota)
- Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure alignment on scheduled strategy sessions and ensure quality expectations
- Set up meetings or calls between potential customers and Account Executives
- Accomplish meaningful metrics and reports to measure productivity and quota attainment
- Stay up to date with new offerings and new pricing/payment plans
- Suggest ways to improve sales processes and product offerings
- Acquire & maintain a consistent working knowledge of MFE’s health and wellness solutions to become a trusted advisor to prospects
- Other duties as assigned to support Account Executives
