We are looking for fast learning, hard-working and reliable floor managers to join our team and adhere to our company's mission statement and core values.
Must be available to work all days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the dispensary team by example, which includes providing excellent customer care, superior time management, and supporting our team environment by performing all duties on the dispensary sales floor
- Manages customer concerns, complaints, and returns
- Provides superior customer service to Maven customers
- Contributes to assisting customers, including working together with dispensary staff to provide excellent customer care
- Provides consistent in the moment performance coaching and manages the productivity of dispensary staff
- Identifies and communicates performance gaps and disciplinary action to the Dispensary Manager and Assistant Manager with a solutions-oriented approach
- Assists with directing dispensary teams, including training new employees and providing comprehensive knowledge on cannabis, products, and devices
- Understands the Maven genetics and the medicinal and recreational benefits of cannabis products and effectively communicate those benefits to customers
- Communicates with dispensary staff on BCC, industry news, and customer concerns and trends
- Properly documents information in the Point of Sale system to ensure proper compliance and train others on how to remain compliant.
- Monitors Point of Sale system transactions with a focus on errors
- Leads the cash handling and daily reconciliation process of drawers
- Assists in ensuring a safe environment for our staff and customers by following all safety and security protocols
- Maintains an orderly sales floor, well-stocked displays, and inventory of products offered.
- Helps maintain inventory levels of all items on the sales floor (ex: bags, lighters, staplers, pens, etc.
- Manages daily break schedules
- Monitors pricing, product offerings, and services from competitors
- Supports the management team in developing events and incentives that will continue to grow the customer base, with particular emphasis on building the local market
- Develops systems that support job functions, policies, and procedures
- Completes other assignments, tasks, and duties as assigned by management
- Investigate all variances and discrepancies related to end-of-shift closeouts prior to closing out the shifts.
- Manages all opening and closing procedures
Qualifications:
- Passion about the use of cannabis for consumers
- At least 1+ year of medical/recreational dispensary management experience
- Knowledge of California Cannabis Law (a big plus!)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A sense of urgency, high energy, positive attitude, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, coachable mindset, and eagerness to contribute wherever there is a need.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Flexible schedule
- Exceptional attention to detail, well-organized and reliable
- Welcomes change and adjust quickly to accommodate the business’s needs.
- Excellent cash handling skills.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour

As a Maven Sales Representative, you will receive support from our management and marketing teams, providing you with all the tools you need to grow sales and build a successful career within our company. The ideal candidate has cannabis industry or general sales experience and will focus on nurturing key accounts in their assigned territory to grow sales and achieve sales objectives. This position is responsible for understanding and developing assigned territory to maximize profits by selling Maven products to existing customers and new accounts, all while ensuring the best experience possible.

Responsibilities
-Prospect new accounts using WeedMaps, social media, and other online tools.
-Set up meetings with dispensary purchasing managers via cold-calling, email, and social media outreach.
-Visit dispensaries on a regular basis to drop off samples, understand customer price points and desires.
-Use a customer-focused, consultative sales process to educate prospects on what products will best fit their needs.
-Ensure demos are used to increase sales in each account.
-Follow-up with prospective accounts.
-Collaborate with our account management team to ensure a seamless on boarding experience for new clients.
-Participate in budtender education events, hosted company parties, networking mixers, and other events on a regular basis.
-Respond to phone and email inquiries in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
-Maintain expert-level knowledge on our full product catalog as well as the latest trends in the cannabis industry.
-Work with the marketing team to develop new sales material and refine messaging.
-Relay feedback from customers to the marketing, product and account management teams on a regular basis.
-Maintain customer databases and ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate.
Skills & Experience
-Minimum one year of experience in a field sales position.
-Prior experience in the California cannabis industry a plus.
-High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree a plus.
-Proven track record of developing a strategic sales strategy, building new business, and meeting/exceeding quotas.
-Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
-Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
-Proficient technical skills including use of MS Office, Google Drive, and CRM software.
-Well Organized, Determined, Motivated and Driven.
