Role:
The Account Manager’s primary purpose is to manage and support all vendor relations for Learn Brands. They will work directly with the sales team and will be responsible for making sure each department meets the needs of their clients and customers. They handle customer complaints, find solutions to their issues, and maintain a positive relationship between both parties for future business ventures.
Essential Duties:
- Ability to perform virtual demos and sell using various video streaming platforms.
- Pursue decision-makers and follow through with commitments made to the account.
- Act as a liaison between the client and departments within the company to convey information, ensure understanding, and make certain everything gets done in an accurate, timely manner.
- Communicate regularly with sales on the status of all vendor relationships
- Resolve complaints and prevent additional issues by improving processes.
- Identify industry trends.
- Act as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
- Inform the company of competitive activity and conditions that would affect the company's interests.
- Needs to be highly proficient with the Learn Brands system within the first 90 days.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Advanced computer skills, including G Suite, CRM, Slack, Smartsheets, social media platforms, and industry-specific software.
- Knowledge of the uses and benefits of cannabis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly proficient with sales principles and customer service practices.
- Must have a valid driver's license. Driving is required.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and understanding their requirements while practicing active listening.
- Ability to work as part of a team with internal and external customers, co-workers, and vendors successfully.
- Ability to use standard office/retail equipment and software.
- Must be able to lift and move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
Working Conditions
- Able to use a computer for extended periods of time

- Periods of outside work for events and travel during inclement weather.

Summary
We are looking for an entry level candidate who demonstrates the ability to learn and take on many roles. This is an integral member of a fast-paced team that offers education solutions across the cannabis industry. This role requires extraordinary attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple tasks at once, and has a positive attitude. The Client Relations Specialist will provide clear communication in a user-friendly and professional manner, be proactive, work well alone as well as with the extended team, and be entrepreneurial-minded.
Role
This role has a main focus to support and maintain current client relationships. The position will be executed by managing our support email, tracking client engagement, and routinely reaching out to clients to ensure satisfaction with the platform and service. It is important that the candidate is solution oriented and can execute any task assigned to them.
Responsibilities
- Point person for assuring new budtenders are onboarded into the system
- Works directly with the General Manager to continually discuss ways to engage budtenders and develop avenues of engagement and add “stickiness” to our service offerings
- Work with our backend developers to improve upon system functionality
- Manage the support email
- Deliver excellent customer service and support to all users through phone, email, Google Hangouts, social media, website, and other means as determined
- Identify and escalate priority issues per customer specifications
- Follow up and make scheduled callbacks to customers when necessary
- Maximize relationships with existing key influencers
- Responsible for backend administrative work including (resetting password, changing employers, etc…)
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities and ways the company can support both current and forthcoming client efforts
- Act as a steward of the brand
Work Experience
* 2+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of cannabis industry experience
* Knowledge of moodle, Hp5 and cloud-based SaaS offerings is a plus
- Excellent sales and customer service skills, including the ability to respond to customers in a diplomatic and professional manner
- Knowledge of relevant industry products and practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including grammar and punctuation
- Experience with SalesForce or any CRM software
- Experience working in a start-up environment is a plus (ability to wear many hats)
- Knowledge of various computer systems and applications, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint) and Google (Mail, Documents, Calendar, Hangouts)
- Excellent organization and time management skills
Education
