Position Summary:
This is for a full-time position for a Cannabis Field Sampling Technician. The Field Sampling Technician role is a key position responsible for collecting and documenting cannabis samples at client sites and bringing them to the lab. Great customer service, attention to detail, and reliability are a must for this important role. This position has potential for advancement.
What You Will Do:
- Collect field samples of cannabis products at client sites in accordance with state regulations and company procedures
- Accurately record sample information, taking great care to accurately record batch numbers and all details required for transport manifests
- Follow detailed procedures to ensure cleanliness and avoid contamination of samples being collected. This is essentially a mobile laboratory position.
- Weigh samples with a field balance and record sample weights.
- Input data into company ordering and tracking system and double-check for accuracy
- Drive to client sites and return samples to the laboratory all over Southern California
- Maintain Company owned vehicle that is used for sample collections
- Driving for multiple hours at a time
- Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications:
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be organized
- Must be punctual
- Customer Service experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of email, including Microsoft Outlook
- Must have valid California Drivers License and clean driving record Preferred
- Understanding of aseptic technique
- Experience in a cannabis testing laboratory or cannabis industry Knowledge of the Bureau of Cannabis Control regulations
- Knowledge of METRC
- Experience with various software including group messenger apps and Excel
Education:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in chemistry or biology highly preferred 1 or more years of laboratory experience

Position Summary:
This is a full-time position. The Analytical Chemist must have strong leadership abilities, be able to troubleshoot instrumentation, work with vendors, and take direction from management. This role is integral to our production.
What You Will Do:
- Scientific writing for reporting, data management reporting, and ability to follow standard operating procedures a must.
- Chemical extraction, sample preparation and analysis for cannabis using LCMS/MS, GC-MS/MS, HPLC, GCMS, ICPMS as well as Microbiological analyses (must know one or more of these processes preferably on Shimadzu).
- Willingness to follow internal quality system requirements. Ensuring SOP’s are written or up-to-date for laboratory processes.
- Familiar with California State regulations for cannabis.
- Implements and maintains appropriate quality control processes and procedures to guarantee accuracy of analysis and quality of results.
- Performs review of reported data and associated quality control and preparing reports for delivery to client.
- Responsibilities may include general instrument troubleshooting.
- Responsible for ensuring that inventory is properly maintained and ordered on time to meet production demands.
- Maintain GLP standards.
- Must understand calculating workflow, turnaround times, and streamlined approaches.
- Must have a history of working in a production laboratory and an understanding of meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to prioritize and multi-task and have flexibility in working various shifts.
Education:
- MinimumBachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related Chemistry field.
Experience:
- LCMS, GCMS, HPLC, or ICPMS: 2 years (Preferred)
- Wet Laboratory: 2 years (Preferred
- Must have 3-5 years of Experience in cannabis or cannabis-related field preferred.
- Environmental/Food testing experience will be considered in lieu of Cannabis experience.
- Familiar with production protocol as required by California State, FDA, ISO 17025 and GLP.
- PREFERENCE GIVEN FOR SHIMADZU EXPERIENCE, LCMS, GCMS, HPLC, or ICPMS for production.
Optional:
- Knowledge of routine microbiological methods for the analysis of environmental, agricultural and food samples, including AOAC, FDA, BAM, ISO. Experience with PCR or ELISA.

We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to add to our growing team. This person will perform a variety of administrative duties that are essential to the day to day operations of our lab. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will also be responsible for providing support to our sales team, operating as an internal customer service arm. This position requires excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and flexibility in order to support the needs of our departments.
Position Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding order updates, payment reminders, or to answer questions
- Receive all incoming calls
- Conduct any needed payment transactions
- Coordinate sample intake and processing
- Perform other administrative duties as needed
