The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the staff, patients, vendors and premises of the facilities. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all non-compliant or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report. The position reports to the General Manager of dispensary location.
Responsibilities
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
- Become familiar with the state cannabis regulations
- Knowledge of guest intake and ID verification procedures and protocols
- Demonstrated ability to interact with the public to facilitate problem-solving of stressful situations with calm and open judgment
- Monitor traffic/patient flow of dispensary
- Immediately contact local law enforcement or other emergency services when required by management or situation requires immediate action.
- Maintains Company’s stability and reputation by enforcing and complying with company policies and legal requirements.
- Reports all facility safety and security issues to management.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Assists in fostering a positive work environment, treating everyone with dignity and respect while perpetuating a curiosity for “everything cannabis”.
Physical requirements
· Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
· Must be able to move frequently about the inside and outside of the facility
· Must be able to work for long hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, working on your feet and bending over
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position. Licensing preferred but not required
· Ability to operate security surveillance systems and emergency equipment.
· Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
· Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the dispensary’s guests
· Cannabis knowledge preferred
· High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
· Minimum 21 years of age
· Must possess valid driver’s license or state ID
· Must pass any and all required background check

The Dispensary Agent is responsible for guiding customers through the cannabis purchasing experience, making informed recommendations based on customer's desired outcomes, provide informed and accurate descriptions of our products, and operate with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver best-in-class customer experience while maintaining operational integrity and compliance throughout the store
- Guide customers through sales transactions while offering advice and knowledge as needed or requested
- Ensure the sales floor is stocked, displays and menus are up-to-date and accurate, and the store is well maintained
- Fulfill and pack customer orders and move completed orders from fulfillment areas to the sales floor for pick up
- Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedure
- Continuously develop product knowledge to offer customers the most up-to-date information and advice
- Respond to customer inquiries in store, online, and over the phone
- Accurately use and maintain the point of sale (POS) system in person and over the phone
- Accurate cash handling, customer cart management, and ringing of customer transactions
- Accurate and timely data entry of customer
- Strive to achieve team and individual performance goals
- Verify proper paperwork, documentation, and required identification for customers
- Report any observed inconsistencies or hazards to Store Leadership
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe and inviting store environment
- Complete store opening and closing checklists
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Knowledgeable of cannabis basics including products, strains, and consumption methods
- Retail sales or customer service experience of 1-3 years, preferably in cannabis industry
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the dispensary’s guests
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Job Title: Director of Human Resources
Classification: Non-exempt
Reports to: CEO,Vice President, and VP of Compliance and Communications
Job Summary: Klutch Cannabis and The Citizen by Klutch are seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead initiatives in areas of recruiting, employee development and retention with a market leading Cultivator, Processor, and Retailer in Ohio’s Medical Cannabis industry. This person must have strong foundational knowledge around standard hiring practices, enforcement of company policies and procedures, and adherence to applicable laws and regulations impacting the Company. This person will partner with team members at the director and manager levels to train and advise on how to conduct performance reviews, provide employees with constructive feedback, and handle conflict resolution.
Essential Functions
- Develop a working knowledge of ORC 3796 and OAC 3796 as they pertain to Human Resources rules for medical marijuana Cultivators, Processors, and Dispensaries in Ohio and ensure that all efforts comply with program rules.
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies, and helping resolve work-related matters.
- Review the Company's policies and procedures, including the Employee Handbooks, and make changes or implement new policies and procedures, as needed.
- Handle all OSHA responsibilities and other federal and state reporting requirements and compliance.
- Lead and/or delegate matters related to Company benefits and employee programs, including but not limited to benefits election, benefits renewals, and benefits administration.
- Report to executive team and as directed, represent the Company at personnel-related hearings and investigations, including unemployment, OSHA, Bureau of Workers Compensation, and other hearings, as required.
- Lead employee file review and make recommendations to executives regarding the appropriate course of actions for employee terminations, resignations, and/or suspensions.
- Responsible for documenting work-related matters appropriately and maintaining a filing system that allows for the quick identification of employee history and track record.
- Administer and/or assist with performance reviews, corrective actions, and employee-related matters.
- Work with management to create and implement onboarding programs. Work with management to develop and implement training programs that identify and build skills for employee career development.
- Provide monthly reports to company executives.
- Ensure all HR recruitment communications, including websites and job postings are current, accurate, and engaging.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs as it relates to vacant positions, coordinate development of position descriptions and assignment of job descriptions.
- Conduct resume/application reviews, passive recruitment searches, screening interviews, and candidate follow-up to support surges in recruitment activity.
- Coordinate interview schedules with candidates, hiring managers, and interview team
- Manage travel and transportation arrangements, including the development and implementation of policies surrounding employee compensation while traveling or working offsite.
- Confirm biweekly payroll with department heads and payroll processing company
- Design and review target compensation ranges for the company with Executive approval.
- Develop and administer a system for receiving, evaluating and responding to employee feedback and suggestions, including employee surveys
- Help design and implement policies and programs that create a positive, engaging, accountable, and responsive corporate culture
- Perform all other duties as required.
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelors Degree: in Human Resources or related field preferred
· HR Certification preferred
· 3+ years in Talent Acquisition
· 7 + years experience in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, and Employee Relations
· Organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow through
· Exceptional conflict resolution and organizational skills.
· Ability to multi-task effectively in a busy, high stress environment.
· Cannabis Industry Experience: 1 year (preferred)
· Must be able to travel up to 40%

Strong familiarity with HR systems and applications.
Stipulation of employment is passing an OHIO BCI and FBI background check in accordance with ORC/OAC 3796.
Employees are not allowed to work on the premises until the badge is activated in the Ohio Department of Medical Marijuana e-Licensing portal.
