Assist the team with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding to procedures and operational guidelines. Responsible for helping customers, checking them out, cash handling, and customer service.
Essential Functions
· Responsible for helping customers in the retail locations in accordance with Kind Love’s mission, vision, goals and objectives

o Maintenance of hard copy files (when required)
o Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for customers
o Security measures and safety compliance
o Store organization and cleanliness
o Managing the visitor log
o Verifying order deliveries for accuracy
o Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers
o Report employee issues or customer situations
· Provide any necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations including: daily activities, maintenance, as well as patient information for any reported issues and/or customer complaints
· Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and following Kind Love’s established policies for sales and customer service

ASSISTANT MANAGER
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruit, hire and staff the dispensary by recruiting top talent with a diverse set of skills among candidates.
- Work with other team members to ensure dispensary operations are compliant.
- Coach, develop and maximize the success of all associates.
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with the store manager.
- Be a positive influence and cheerleader to all dispensary staff, and patient/customers.
- Oversee operational execution, ensuring all policies and procedures are being followed.
- Ensure loss prevention / security policies and practices are being followed.
- Become an expert in all cannabis state-specific rules, regulations and laws. Execute and enforce compliance, according to state laws.
- Lead a consistent focus on customer loyalty and creating emotionally engaging customer experiences.
- Coordinate and partner with management to drive the success of promotions and loyalty program.
- Oversees and signs off on product buys from our wholesale partners.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure inventory is consistently accurate, up to date, effectively ordered and replenished.
- Maintain accurate records for all necessary documents; including but not limited to: daily cash reconciliations, delivery and inventory manifests, nightly and monthly inventory counts, necessary employee and patient/customer information, log books, inventory adjustments and destruction reports, in accordance with Company and State guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned by the Management Team.
COMPETENCIES:
- Knowledge of or a willingness to learn state specific cannabis laws and regulatory compliance.
- Must have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to manage difficult or emotional situations.
- Treats people with respect, keeps commitments, inspires the trust of others, works with integrity and ethically, upholds organizational structure.
- Observes and adheres to regulatory, safety and security procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 2 years of retail experience in the cannabis industry
- Must have MED employee badge
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
