About the job:
We are looking for a Budtender for our Dayton, Ohio dispensary. Budtenders assist customers with their purchases. They recommend suitable cannabis products to customers, address customers' concerns, and ensure that sales floors are adequately stocked. We are looking to employ a knowledgeable and experienced budtender to assist customers in selecting suitable cannabis products.
Ultimately, an outstanding Budtender should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills by ensuring that customers are well-informed and satisfied with their purchases. Our Budtenders are often the first experience a consumer has with our products, and it’s imperative that the experience is one of education, experience, and value.
Budtender Responsibilities:
- Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
- Keeping abreast of new cannabis products on the market.
- Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
- Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
- Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required.
- Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
- Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
- Promote, coordinate, and support planned promotions and in-store deals to achieve sell-through and re-orders- boosting the brand for our clients and customers
- Managing an inventory of promotional swag and material, including in-store vendor day collateral (table, signage, rug).
- Merchandising retail locations with up-to-date displays and promotional materials.
- Capturing in-store information such as merchandising and branding points.
- Representing the brand and effectively communicating our value propositions and technical differentiators.

Budtender Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- 21+
- Proven experience working as a Budtender.
- A valid marijuana worker's permit or license.
- Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- $15-18/hr plus tips. 40 hours/week

About the Job:
We are looking for a Store Manager for our Dayton, Ohio Dispensary.
The Store Manager will lead our team in its day-to-day operations. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for the cannabis industry and a desire to create a long-lasting impression on our customers and staff. It’s important that this person seeks to engage in a long term relationship and grow their career with the company. The manager’s main responsibility is to coordinate and facilitate transactions of the store and grow sales. The right fit for this role is comfortable in maintaining proper records and compliance, facilitating contact with producers, embracing client education, and has a good understanding of marketing. As store manager, you will train employees, help decide which products to carry, and assist in determining best pricing based on market conditions. It is equally important that this individual is a true leader and seeks to engage with and empower our staff. We want the happiest employees in the industry! The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in retail management. At least 1 year of retail cannabis experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement all operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance the company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives
- Coordinate and facilitate all transactions and operations
- Manage, supervise, and direct the activities of all assigned staff and make recommendations regarding hiring, disciplining, terminating, and advancing employees
- Implement company policies and ensure staff adhere to best practices
- Manage and inspire staff to deliver the highest level of customer service and experience
- Review employee performance regularly and maintain employee records
- Ensure safety and satisfaction of all customers and employees
- Ensure ongoing staff education on medical and recreational cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods
- Assist in development of budgets and sales forecasts
- Fulfill staffing needs and coordinate employee scheduling
- Liaise with law enforcement, vendors, landlords, and local community as needed
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all strains and products in store inventory as well as industry wide product and trend knowledge
Require Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum one year cannabis retail experience
- Bachelor’s degree and/or three to five years’ management experience
- Retail management experience preferred
- Proficient with basic software (i.e. Microsoft Office, Adobe, Quickbooks)
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and with others

- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must possess valid driver’s license or state ID

Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners
