We are looking for someone with exceptional organization and communication skills to stock the sales floor at our ever-growing Annapolis Cannabis dispensary. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their feet for long periods of time, going up and down stairs, and ensure all the bins and products are well stocked on the floor.
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Must be at least age 21.

- One to two years demonstrated work experience in customer service and/or sales, in a fast paced, demanding retail environment.

Responsibilities
- Stockers need to work quickly and efficiently to get products from the vault upstairs down to our sales floor in the dispensary.
- Identify and communicate areas to improve stock levels to ensure product availability is maintained.
- Assisting with inventory management as needed.
- Stockers will ensure there is a wide variety of products on the sales floor and that each bin is fully stocked. This includes ensuring a variety of each strain for cartridges, concentrates, etc. is available in each bin for our sales staff.
- Check the daily deal bins and make sure they are well stocked on the floor throughout the day until a product is sold out.
- Stockers will utilize our POS system Dutchie to assist in managing inventory and communicating with Packaging Management anything running low or out.

About the role:
As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for financial reporting, operational accounting, and budgeting, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, systems of internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Please see below the most common tasks performed on a daily basis:
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for the site by coordinating, preparing and submitting financial statements for review and analysis of monthly site production, project, and other costs.
- Prepare journal entries, compiling and analyzing production and project cost information.
- Prepare account reconciliations and account analysis.
- Prepare actual vs. budget/forecast production and cost reports and analysis for distribution to members of the management team.
- May present information during annual budget meetings.
- Prepare quarterly site forecasts in the same manner as the budgeting process.
- Coordinate and prepare audit documentation for internal and external audit visits, responsible for compliance and results of audit.
- Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley, SEC, and other accounting standards. This includes maintaining documentation for compliance and frequent monitoring of internal controls.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, outside contractors and vendors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare and review internal financial statements and various supporting schedules.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Prior experience in the mining industry preferred
- SEC Reporting and public company experience preferred
- Good working knowledge of US GAAP
- Demonstrated focus on continuous process improvement and driving efficiencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
