POSITION SUMMARY
The Farm Director is a key leader that helps keep East Fork’s farm operations running smoothly. The position covers responsibilities including staffing, daily management, team coordination, and long term planning. The Farm Director also plays a role in crafting East Fork’s general organizational strategy, and helms the Farm Leadership Team.
OUTCOMES: (In order of priority)
1. Oversee daily operations of the East Fork Ranch.
2. Organize and lead the Farm Leadership Team with the goal of maximizing team potential.
3. Work closely with CEO, COO, and other leaders within the organization to help continually shape East Fork’s strategic direction and lead necessary changes.
4. Fosters the professional development of farm staff to empower leadership skills, decision making, and efficiency across all positions.
5. Provide high level support for Operations/Flower and Cultivation efforts, helping align the teams to better reach their goals.
6. Lead farm staffing including position and team refinement, permanent and temporary hires, and dismissals.
7. Help facilitate peer reviews, sit on the HR team, interface with HR consultants, and work to solve personnel issues as they arise.
8. Serve as a central hub to coordinate compliance with local jurisdictions, regulatory agencies, neighbors, and third-party certifiers.
9. Be "the voice of the farm" within the organization. Help teams communicate with each other and serve as a key bridge between Takilma and Portland teams.
10. Help teams improve performance using data, systems design, and coaching.
11. Facilitate farm visits, tours, and events while acting as an on-site ambassador of East Fork.
12. Lead the implementation of core lean systems tools such as Kaizen, Kanban, and SOP’s to reduce waste and maximize value added work throughout the farm.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Annual salary: $50,000 to $54,000
- Health insurance: Partially subsidized plan
- Paid time off: 4 weeks (flexible guideline, to be coordinated with team)

- Housing: East Fork may be able to provide housing. If living on-site there will be a shared agreement clarifying additional care-taker responsibilities in the case of power outages, inclement weather, etc.
WORK SCHEDULE, RELATIONSHIPS AND CULTURE
- Schedule: The Farm Director should average at least 40 hours per week, often more. While hours may be flexible depending on season and need, the Farm Director is expected to be generally available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-F.
- Relationships: The Farm Director will work closely with the CEO, CCO, and Leadership Teams.
- Travel: This position requires minimal travel.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Administrator provides critical cohesion across the company’s administration, HR, facilities, purchasing, and financial operations. In addition to administering payroll and benefits, maintaining a clean and organized office space, managing procurement of supplies, and coordinating daily operational details in our Portland office, the Operations Administrator serves as a welcoming voice for incoming calls and ensures accurate record keeping, organization, and communication. The role regularly touches on multiple organizational functions but is rooted on the Operations team.
OUTCOMES: (In order of priority)
1. Support operations, HR, purchasing, finance, and general administrative functions
2. Research and administer payroll, benefits, and employee support programs
3. Monitor business licenses, certifications, and other requirements for maintaining continuous operations
4. Administer Human Resources Team responsibilities and engage in HR Team leadership including administration of peer review processes
5. Research, maintain, and secure various forms of insurance to protect East Fork’s programs and assets
6. Coordinate registrations, repairs, and maintenance of East Fork’s fleet of vehicles and Portland facility
7. Interface with insurance brokers, vendors, and other professional services providers to support core responsibilities
8. Maintain and expand Organic Certification in Portland warehouse
9. Maintain project management tools including Trello boards to organize work, and act as an administrator for internal company software

11. Oversee cleanliness, supplies and organization of the Portland facility
12. Support procurement of Hemp Bar supplies and vendor relationship management
13. Support accounts receivable and payable, help prepare bank deposits, support expense reimbursement process
14. Support precise cash handling and cash flow monitoring
15. Answer phone, collect mail, and manage incoming messages to general email inbox

East Fork is seeking a talented, passionate Flower Inventory Specialist to join our team. This position is located in Takilma, Oregon and candidates must be able to work onsite.

Position Summary
The Flower Inventory Specialist is tasked with continually sustaining and improving inventory tracking systems, shipping of orders, and a variety of administrative work on the farm. The Flower Inventory Specialist will be expected to keep accurate inventory data for several of East Fork’s regulatory agencies and 3rd party certifications. This person will also work closely with the Flower Team Lead(s) to refine shipping standards, product transfers, and assist with administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a knack for systems design and implementation, an eye for quality and detail, and a drive to always make things better.
Legal Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be legally able to work in the U.S.
- Must possess or obtain an OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit
Minimum Qualifications and Technical Skills
- 3+ years relevant experience — cannabis handling experience preferred, but not required
- Competent digital skills, including but not limited to G Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Forms, Calendar); experience with Oregon Cannabis Tracking system (Metrc) a plus
- Exceptional grasp of spreadsheets and data management.
- Adept at learning systems and processes with attention to quality and detail.
- Ability to work productively at repetitive tasks, including sitting or standing for long periods of time.

Role Duties and Outcomes (in order of priority)
- Continually refine and improve East Fork’s flower tracking systems.
- Keep careful records for compliance, inventory, and financial analysis purposes.
- Develop and improve direct-to-consumer (DTC )orders and internal product transfers from the farm.
- Assist the Flower Team Lead(s) with administrative tasks.
- Carefully document standards and best practices.
- Physically work with the Flower Team to de-stem, grade, package, and finish flower for market.
- Interface with Sales, Operations and Cultivation teams, as necessary, to communicate flower handling details.
- Maintain Flower Team tools and equipment.
- Assist with seasonal farm needs, including planting and harvesting.
- Participate in shared farm team activities, including cleaning, policy refinement, workshops, and occasional travel.
