Job Title: Director of Sales, California
Compensation: $100K - $135K annual salary plus incentives
About Disruptive Beverage:
Disruptive Beverage is seeking a talented and experienced Director of Sales to oversee the launch and growth of an innovative cannabis beverage within the state of California. The Director of Sales primary goal is to ensure a successful launch and to oversee the scale of the product throughout the state. The role is best suited for someone who can be a player/coach responsible maximizing growth potential, educating customers, developing sales strategies, maintaining budget/sales forecasts and manage the overall execution of the sales plan.
This position is a fit for someone who would describe themselves as ambitious, hungry, and a relentless grinder. This position will require an entrepreneurial spirit, lots of phone calls, emails, prospecting, and facetime within dispensaries throughout the State.
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with senior management on development and execution of sales goals and strategy
- Responsible for prospecting, closing, and maintaining ongoing sales relationships with accounts
- Oversees recruitment over new sales representatives
- Travels to customers and performs in person sales activities
- Responsible for ensuring each sales rep achieves their monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Responsible for the achievement of company-wide revenue targets (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
- Responsible for the achievement of individual sales reps and company-wide selling margin goals
- Generates revenue through both new and existing clients
- Maintains a steady and growing 30/60/90 pipeline of revenue
- Leads weekly sales team meetings
- Represents the company at industry events
- Compiles and organizes sales metric reports
- Keeps management abreast of plans, achievements, and facts
- Understands industry-specific trends and landscapes
- Subject matter expert on both the cannabis and beverage industries
- Positively supports and contributes to Disruptive company culture
Knowledge, skills, & abilities:
- A proven track record of consistently exceeding their sales goals
- Proven ability to clearly communicate value propositions and offer solution-based selling
- Experience managing the full life cycle of sales from prospecting to closing business
- High-energy, hunter mentality with a drive to succeed
- Ability to influence key decision-makers
- Excellent listening, communication, negotiation, problem solving, and presentation skills
- Ability to qualify the veracity of potential sales opportunities
- Understanding of how to position products against competitors
- Customer focused attitude with robust problem-solving skills
Education, experience, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
- 3+ years of sales or customer facing experience within the cannabis industry
- Prior experience managing salespeople
- Intermediate or better Microsoft Office skills
- Cannabis beverage experience preferred

About Disruptive Beverage:
Disruptive Beverage is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to oversee the launch and growth of an innovative cannabis beverage within the state of California. The Director of Marketing’s primary goal is to ensure a successful launch and to oversee the brand’s visibility throughout the state.
This position is a fit for someone who would describe themselves as creative, tactical, organized, data-driven, and innovative. This position will require the establishment of a new brands comprehensive marketing strategy, implementation and execution of the brand launch, and day to day management of all marketing activities.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s overall marketing strategy
- Plan and execute campaigns for promotions, launching of new product lines, etc.
- Conduct research and competitor analysis to keep abreast of industry positioning
- Become an expert in marketing to the cannabis industry
- Oversee day to day management of social media channels
- Collaborate with third-party contractors to optimize SEO, SEM, and all web development updates
- Develop marketing material to directly support sales efforts
- Oversee third party marketing partnerships
- Represent the company at industry events
- Compile and organize marketing metric reports
- Spearhead influencer and celebrity relations
- Keep management abreast of plans, achievements, and key data points
- Understands industry-specific trends and landscapes
- Subject matter expert on both the cannabis and beverage industries
- Positively supports and contributes to Disruptive company culture
Knowledge, skills, & abilities:
- A proven track record of developing comprehensive marketing strategies
- Ability to clearly communicate value propositions and spread brand awareness
- Experience managing the full life cycle of marketing
- Creative with a drive to succeed
- Understanding of how to position products against competitors

- Proven ability to build a mass market brand
Education, experience, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
- 3+ years of sales of marketing experience within the cannabis industry
- Prior experience managing a team
- Cannabis beverage experience preferred
