We are hiring a maintenance worker to join our maintenance team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.
Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Maintenance worker will be responsible for assisting Maintenance Manager in maintaining facility, repairs and various maintenance tasks.
We require experience in managing large facilities and electrical experience.
- Proven maintenance experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
- Experience performing routine maintenance.
- Strong organizational and follow up skills.

The Budtender is the Quintessential Face of the store/company, and facilitator to the customer experience that is expected for our customers in the store. It is the responsibility of the Budtender to uphold the levels of cleanliness and operation standards that are established by the Management staff. The role of a Budtender is to assist customers with purchases, provide exceptional customer service, assist in quarterly inventory, and maintaining cleanliness of the store. A Budtender’s goal is to create a lasting and pleasant relationship with the customer.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Store Upkeep: A clean and professional looking store shows our customers that we are always striving to conduct ourselves in a clean and professional manner.
a. Store Cleanliness: Budtenders must always ensure the highest level of cleanliness on a daily manner during their shifts. Daily and Weekly cleaning schedules will be used as a reference to the full scope of duties required to ensure cleanliness. These schedules will be formatted into logs that will be filled out and signed both daily and weekly.
b. Backstock Organization: Make sure all products are organized neatly by category and using the “First in First Out” System. After organization, Budtenders must constantly be looking for anything that might affect the efficiency of the back stock roop. Examples include: Making sure all batches are properly barcoded, all expiration dates are being properly updated and any expired product is being pulled from shelves, that all products are off of the floor and all flower is sealed away in the vault.
c. Display Upkeep: All displays need to be cleaned weekly. Displays should always be organized so that the products made in house are shown first. Constant organizing and revamping will be one of the prime responsibilities for the Budtender and they will have personal freedom to be creative in their display creation, as long as it is first approved by management staff.
2. POS System: The POS System is used to properly record and track sales being made each day in the store, as well as maintain accurate information on current inventory.
a. Making Sales: The main priority of the Budtender is to ensure the proper completion of sales throughout the day. This includes entering and creating of customers in our membership program and proper understanding of the weekly deals.
b. Closing Cash: At the end of each day, all terminals will need to be close don Biotrack with the cash counted and deposit separated out. All terminals being closed will have a EOD (End of Day) Form with a section for their assigned terminal. The onsite manager will complete the paperwork, as well as the EOD processes.
3. Product Knowledge: While having extensive knowledge on products and cannabis in general is expected of all staff members, the Budtender will be the main position that utilizes this information the most in their constant interaction with customers in order to educate customers on the products and their benefits.
a. Flower and Body: Knowledge of the relationship between terpenes and cannabinoids known as the, “Entourage Effect”, is important in properly describing the types of highs you get from the whole flower cannabis. Customers should know the scientific differences between strains.
b. Digestion: Knowing how different edibles are digested and what our body does with them, is a major responsibility of all staff members. Different forms of digestion equal different types of highs and durations. If we don’t educate our customers on this, they will not know exactly what to expect and may have an unenjoyable experience.
c. Dosages: All staff members should know the proper dosing amount, as it is enforced by the MED (Marijuana Enforcement Division). Though certain customers will have higher tolerances, they are ingesting on their own prerogative.
4. Customer Experience: Ensuring a good experience with all customers in the shop is the main priority of the Budtender. The Budtender is the face for the entire company, and how they treat the customer reflects on how our image progresses throughout the entire company.
a. Atmosphere: The store should always generate a setting of comfort, safety, professionalism, and calm. Budtenders should in turn always conduct themselves according to perseverance of this setting.
b. Educational Experience: The store should be represented as a safe haven and an information outlet for our less educated customers. Budtenders are the facilitators of this experience and should make sure they are constantly keeping themselves updated on current science and information. While we don’t want to force information on our customers, they should always be shown through the way Budtenders conduct themselves, and make it known that the information will always be available to them.
c. Customer Recognition and Positive Relationships: Budtenders are encouraged to form positive and lasting relationships with their customers. Learning your customers’ names, purchasing habits, as well as hobbies and passions, will do nothing but promote a further connection from the customer to staff member that goes well beyond the basic sale. Letting our customers know that we care and are interested in them as a person, and not just as a customer, will make our customer service outshine any competition.
5. Follow the SOP’s and complete tasks that are assigned by the Store Manager and the Assistant Manager.
6. Help with meeting and exceed sales goals.
7. Roll joints, convert, and keep an accurate log of joints rolled.
8. Answer phone and handle all other inquiries.
9. Accepts other duties as assigned.

Procedures
- Maintains grow-house protocols for mid-scale cannabis cultivation facility.
- Perform tasks in the grow including: Cloning, transplanting, pruning, take down, set up, and inventory management.
