Onboarding Specialist:
The Onboarding Specialist will work with the client onboarding team to ensure successful onboarding for new clients and continuous knowledge growth of team members. Some initial job tasks will include but are not limited to:
Essential Job Duties:
- Collaborate with other members of the Onboarding team to ensure a seamless, efficient and delightful onboarding experience for both new and existing clients, beginning with post sale engagements and continuing through multiple onboarding phases resulting in successful application go-live.
- Facilitate client’s sandbox deliver, data work session and training, involving key stakeholders. Perform information gathering exercises to acquire both tactical and strategic knowledge relevant to the SaaS implementation.
- Take a strategic and consultative approach to the client’s onboarding experience through deep knowledge of industry best practices and the client’s strategic business objectives.
- Own client communication, setting proper expectations
- Facilitate and conduct Discovery Workshop, information gathering and dissemination
- Assist clients with understanding industry best practices
- Develop Discovery Workshop artifacts and provide warm handoff to Support teams
- Develop and maintain high proficiency of MJ Freeway product knowledge
- Develop and maintain high proficiency of Cannabis industry knowledge
- Participate in Sales cycle as Onboarding team representative as needed
- Identify potential problems and opportunities related to the implementation of onboarding
- Identify and promote opportunities for process improvements
- Travel to client sites as needed

- 2-3 years of software onboarding experience

Objective:
A Business Development Representative is a very important role, serving as the first point of contact with a prospective client. The BDR team responds to all inquiries for MJ Freeway products and services, provides the company introduction, and qualifies the prospective client’s needs. They are responsible for cultivating leads, converting them into qualified opportunities for the sales team, and assisting the Account Executives with closing deals.
Responsibilities:
- Learning the ins and outs of the MJ Freeway product and messaging, as well as our integrations and partnerships
- Building relationships with sales, professional services, marketing, and product teams
- Establishing relationships with prospects, including both inbound and self-generated leads, to drive opportunities down the sales funnel
- Continuously learning about the constantly evolving cannabis and hemp industries, becoming an expert who can add value to every conversation
- Attending trade shows and other events to represent the company and educate prospects about our products and services
- Assisting the Account Executives and other sales team members with pipeline acceleration, including (but not limited to) scheduling and rescheduling demos, setting up custom demo sites and researching prospect information
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, via phone, video conferencing and in-person
- Minimum of 1 year experience in sales or business development
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field
- Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred
- Experience working with SaaS and B2B products preferred
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment

Job Description - Director of Product Development
The Director of Product serves as a thought leader at MJ Freeway constantly raising the bar on customer experience by driving our product’s vision and innovation in an Agile Software Development framework. MJ Freeway is a software leader in one of the fastest growing industries in the world – the cannabis industry.
The Director of Product will develop product strategies with our Product team and drive them from inception to delivery in order to provide highly sought after, profitable solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations and continue to position us as the number 1 cannabis ERP technology in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Execute on the vision and strategic direction set by leadership for our B2B and B2G, SAAS products (currently MJ Platform seed-to-sale and Leaf Data Systems) in the market
- Evolve and manage the Product Development Lifecycle in partnership with the Engineering Team to maximize the quality and velocity of software releases
- Lead and develop a strong product team challenging and supporting them to be successful and deliver results
- Establish an on-going product roadmap consistent with the strategic direction of the company and incorporating broad input from internal and external stakeholders
- Drive and Improve Product department metrics such as new addressable market in MRR, NPS, Revenue per customer (RPC), ROI, CAC, adoption, quality, and velocity
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Onboarding to establish product roadmap priorities from a data-driven perspective
- Ensure adequate backlog of features is maintained per product line
- Continuously evaluate, refine, and improve the end-to-end customer experience in cannabis cultivation, manufacturing, retail, and delivery based on business and user needs
- Establish proper measures of performance with which to evaluate and continuously adapt the Product function
- Establish client relationships and mechanisms for continued customer input into development roadmaps
- Maintain an understanding of our competitive landscape and what differentiates our product from others in the industry

Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in leading a product team and product management
- Experience leading design teams with a strong track record and a body of work that demonstrates measurable (data-driven) value to customers and to the business (e.g. increased revenue, revenue per customer, lifetime value, improved NPS, lower CAC, etc.)
- Led a SaaS product lifecycle team through growth and scale to enterprise market
- Operates from a proven, winning product development methodology and can hit the ground running. Experience with Jobs to be Done (ODI), Pragmatic Marketing, Platform Revolution, and Challenger Customer a huge plus.
- Strong plus if you have ERP, CRM, or PLM experience
- Strong plus if you worked highly regulated, agricultural or pharmacological industries
- Experience in B2B, SAAS product development, B2G is a plus
- Ability to work in a scaled agile environment

Job Description
With nearly ten years history, Akerna | MJ Freeway is the global market leader in cannabis compliance technology for the complete supply chain and have the largest repository of cannabis industry data. We strongly believe that our data provides unprecedented understandings about the emerging market and how to plan for scalable growth. We are looking for a highly talented data analyst to help unlock this value.
As a data analyst, you will be responsible for the delivery of strategic analytics data solutions, including developing data reporting tools and performing custom analysis for a wide range of products and services, for example: price guidance, product demand forecasts, customer segmentation, sales projections and discovery of new insights on the cannabis industry.
This role is accountable for the design, development, and analysis of data solutions that provide data-founded insights on the market, showcase trends and understandings and packaging of detailed information in a consumable and relevant manner.
Relevant experience:
- 5+ years direct work experience as a data analyst, including experience identifying opportunities and insights from complex data sets and designing easy-to-use reporting and recommending action that derives business value from interpretation of data sets
- Strong understanding of customer needs and strong bottom-line driven business acumen
- Adept with querying in SQL
- Strong track record using BI Visualization Tools to create customer-facing reports (Tableau, Pentaho, Business Objects, etc)
- Strong proven experience driving collaborative, time-bound projects, including the design and implementation of analysis projects and reporting tools
- Experience querying data from salesforce and Hadoop
- Experience with regression analysis techniques to model historical data to forecast demand, purchase propensity, production yields, customer traffic, and more
- Experience with google analytics; adobe analytics is a plus
- Familiarity with programming languagesis a plus

Job Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related quantitative discipline

Akerna is rising quickly in a fast paced, “budding” industry and we are looking for a Technical Support Specialist with a Customer First mentality to join our team. This full-time position will assist our existing clients through multiple communication channels mainly phone and email. We are a growing team that is looking for individuals who want to be a part of building something special and providing the BEST support in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting and resolving all customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner focusing on First Call Resolution and overall Customer Satisfaction, across all Akerna brands.

Develop an in-depth knowledge of the product suite and the industry as needed to provide maximum value for our clients.

Manage multiple support tickets while maintaining appropriate client follow-up and a high level of detail documenting in our CRM (Salesforce/Zendesk) to ensure we meet our contracted customer SLAs.

Ability to troubleshoot and analyze software peripherals as needed while educating clients of varying degrees of knowledge of our software.

Support and maintain user account information including rights, security and systems groups.

Effective and efficient internal communications with sales, billing, and product development teams.

Responsible for meeting or exceeding performance metrics based on industry standard KPIs such as: First Call Resolution, First Response, Answer Rate, Mean Time to Resolve, Average Handle Time and NPS.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-
2+ years of technical support experience required or equivalent call centre experience.

Experience troubleshooting POS hardware such as scanners, printers, and registers; not
required but preferred.

Knowledge of commonly used tech support concepts, practices, and procedures as well as
great customer service is required.

A high level of proficiency with web-based demonstrations, shared calendars, Microsoft Teams and
instant messaging, is required.

Previous tech support experience is ideal

Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) desired, but not required

Ability to work rotating schedules including weekends
- Aptitude tests are required during the interview process
