Essential Duties and Responsiblities
- Manage, troubleshoot, audit, and maintain all POS, inventory, and security systems
- Ensure that all safety & HIPAA protocols and procedures are followed by all employees in the facility(s)
- Create, run, and analyze the management of inventory & purchasing
- Ensure product availability and inventory levels coincide with product sales
- Ensure the site is in full compliance with all local and state laws while assisting with regulatory inspections
- Partner with the Accounting Department to ensure all financial records and reporting follow compliance and match records
- Oversee all department schedules and ensure they are maintained based on the operational needs of the facility(s)
- Partner with the HR Department to ensure the hiring, training, coaching, and development of employees is in line with the companies needs
· Partner with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure proficient hiring, training, coaching, and development of Pharmacists
- Ensure all areas and workstations of the dispensary are kept cleaned and organized
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure service and product offerings are excellent and the highest level of customer service is achieved
- Generate brand awareness and maintain a strong presence while creating positive impact plans (via social media/ branded give aways/ donations ect.)
- Implement and manage all Company policies and procedures
- Work/ maintain a hands-on “lead by example” approach
- Delegate, manage, and empower the team to achieve an optimal performance
Working Conditions

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- Manager experience, 2+ years (preferred)
- Retail experience, 5+ years
- Connecticut cannabis industry experience (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or industry training equivalent (preferred)
- Customer Service experience, 4+ years (preferred)
- Inventory management experience
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking, time-management, planning, & organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, critical thinker, problem solver, & assessor
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- 21+ and currently residing in the USA

- Establish and maintain great rapport with patients and staff.
- Check in patients under proper protocol standards.
- Facilitate the patient renewal process.
- Assist prospective patients in working through the registration process to become a patient.
- Answer and direct phone calls.
- Answer emails and/or forward to appropriate staff member.
- Provide great customer service to patients and prospective patients.
- Assist in filing and scanning patient files according to the filing and scanning system protocols.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA guidelines.
- Perform facility cleaning and disinfecting protocols.
- Perform other tasks when assigned by your supervisor.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- An active CT Pharmacy Technician license is required.
- 1-3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience is required.
- BILINGUAL IS A BIG PLUS!
- Experience in the retail and/or health industry is a plus.
- Must give consent for a background check per state cannabis regulations.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Must be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to manage conflict.
- High school diploma or GED required.

- Must be always in-store during scheduled shift to allow for proper Affinity Health & Wellness dispensation policies and procedures of cannabis products
- Educate prospective and existing patients about the properties and benefits of cannabis
- Provide timely and accurate medication information to patients over the phone and in-person
- Perform a consultation with new patients to recommend best course of treatment and assist them in becoming more knowledgeable of the Connecticut medical cannabis program and products
- Responsible to stay up to date on current research and information related to cannabis/marijuana
- Responsible for coverage of pharmacist schedule during duration of any time off (paid time off or unpaid time off)
- Drive retail sales and patient retention
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and federal and state laws
- Assess patient certification to monitor for restrictions
- Communicate restrictions with dispensary team to ensure any limitations on product selection/quantity
- Assisting with additional dispensary tasks as requested. These include but are not limited to accepting product deliveries, returns, inventory controls, employee trainings, fulfilling online and phone orders, and checking patients out
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Must be a registered and licensed CT Pharmacist
- Must have 2+ years of dispensary experience
- Experience in the retail and/or health industry is a plus
- Must be proficient in the expertise of cannabinoids and how they interact with the human body
- Must be proficient in their understanding and knowledge of the cannabis industry and its laws.
- Experience with point-of-sale computer systems/software
- Working knowledge of inventory and sales reporting
- Must give consent for a background check per state cannabis regulations.
