HARVEST MOON SOUTHERN OREGON
** About The Company **
We are a company striving to raise the standard in the cannabis and hemp industry. Our mission is to bring back the team efforts we once had that made this industry go round, as well as working with the new innovations and ways that have been set forth.
We are looking for self motivated individuals, who want more options and control of their earning potential to join our organization. Our company is contracted by farms all over Southern Oregon; therefore you will have a wide variety of locations/projects to choose from each week, and our subcontractors enjoy that variety via their work environment.
We currently need leaders, farm labor and trimmers
This opportunity is perfect for those who want to supplement their weekly/monthly income by working a few days a week
(or a full week). Regardless if you are seeking employment for yourself; or your family, we have options for you.
** Who We Are Looking For **
We are looking for self-motivated, consistent, and goal driven contractors who can work well as a team. Individuals who are coachable, and strive to exceed the clients expectations each day they are contracted. We are willing to train qualified prospects within each aspect of the industry, thus being receptive to mentoring is important (even to those with experience), because each client wants their project completed from their vision of it, not someone else’s. Individuals with backgrounds ranging from (but not limited to) General Farm Labor, Commercial Fishing, Cooks,
Horticulturist, Landscapers, & Ex-Military thrive within our organization.
Individuals 18+ that are US Citizens can be subcontracted to assist our Hemp & Medical clients with projects ranging from (but not limited to) Planting, Defoliation, Trellis Maintenance, Irrigation Maintenance, Harvesting, Hooking & General Farm/Garden Support and Processing work such as Trimming, Bucking, Packaging, & Joint Rolling.
Individuals 21+ that are US Citizens with an OLCC license can be subcontracted to the opportunities listed above, as well OLCC approved farms. Providing support with projects ranging from (but not limited to) Planting, Defoliation, Trellis Maintenance, Irrigation Maintenance, Harvesting, Hooking, General Farm/Garden Support and Processing work such as Trimming, Bucking, Packaging, & Joint Rolling.
** Pay Structure **
For contracts bidded on an hourly rate per person, we pay $16/16.50 pr/hr to our subcontractors. When we take on an hourly
contract to subcontract out, we ensure a full day's work (8/10Hr shift). We understand the importance of a guaranteed full day's wage for our subcontractors time, effort, & commitment. Those who work within our organization for 3 months are eligible for an increase in hourly wage, and those who qualify to be a Team Lead can earn $18.00 pr/hr.
For contracts sub-contracted out for piece work/volume, we pay by the project.
Example: Planting 1 acre of plants takes 5 People 4 hours who work diligently. This would pay each of the subcontractors $100.00 for 4 hours of work, equaling $25.00 pr/hr. If the project takes longer; that is ok, but the rate of $100.00 per acre is still the rate or pay. This is why it is important to be a consistent team player who is goal oriented in their pursuit of income. This is just one example of how our piece/volume work is paid out, each project contracted under this approach has its own structure
[pay x volume x labor] ratio. This information is presented to the subcontractor before being contracted/agreeing to the project.
If this opportunity sounds like it could be a good income generating opportunity for you/your family, please reply to this posting via e-mail. Please tell us a little bit as to why this opportunity interests you/your family, with a copy of your resume. If you do not have a formal resume, please give us a generalized description of your work history within the e-mail.
To those who already have an OLCC License, please include a copy of your card within the e-mail.
For those who would like to acquire an OLCC Permit to increase the variety of projects that they can be subcontracted to, we have included the link below. Currently COVID-19 is delaying the processing via the OLCC's end, therefore we are allowed to use the test/license reference number until they are back to full capacity.
