Oklahome Processing is launching a new beverage canning operation in the heart of the USA. We intend to service both nationwide and localized products in the fast-growing Hemp and Cannabis infused beverage markets. We are looking for an experienced operator who is motivated to join our production and R&D teams in our Tulsa, OK division. We are within weeks of going launching full production capabilities and are seeking an operator tired of the same old brewery scene. Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage and operate a variety of processing equipment and canning line. Including maintenance cycles, ingredient mixing and formulation, can line operation, and packaging duties.
- Ensure safety compliance and GMPs.
- Monitor and drive process efficiencies.
- Weigh in on formulary decisions for new and existing products in order to meet the demand of new clients who seek new products, ingredients, materials, and processes. * Write, update, and maintain SOPs for production operations.
- Record and document production data including inventory management, finished goods, and scrap rates. Assist in material forecasting and ordering based on inventories.
- Proactively investigate and promote the latest food science research and support efforts to drive the implementation of new methods and technologies.
- Support development of complete product formulations that meet the technical requirements of customers.
- Effectively duplicate products in the marketplace by employing basic food science techniques.
- Work with client quality assurance teams to maintain food production standards.
- Write project summary reports, tabulate and manage data, and conduct basic statistical analysis for cost variances and continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple simultaneous projects in an organized fashion
- Understanding of food labeling requirements to develop nutrition labels, ingredients statements, safety data sheets, and more.
- Experience with data management and basic statistics/math.
- Ability to learn to use specialized equipment.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, fluid work environment
- Interest in career growth Education / Experience
- B.S. in food science, engineering, supply chain, or related field.
- Experience can replace need for formal education on a case-by-case basis.
- 4+ years of manufacturing or lab experience, food/beverage experience preferred
Job Type: Part-time until full production reached in a few weeks; full-time going forward.
Pay: $20-$30 / hour depending on experience and motivation to grow.

Beverage Canning Line Operator
Salary: 20 p/hr

This is a fulltime position – min. 40 hrs p/wk
Wemelco Industries is seeking an experienced candidate to handle various aspects of Cannabis Beverage production. Including, but not limited to, batch production, packaging, warehousing, shipping and receiving, and assisting the Operations Manager as needed.

General Duties
- Cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of all vessels and equipment
- Packaging line operation and maintenance
- Raw material and finished product inventory
- Production of Cannabis Beverages for multiple Brands and Flavors under those brands.
- Inventory and ordering of bulk chemicals, ingredients, and other materials necessary to production
- Manifesting, invoicing, and shipping sales orders
- Maintaining a safe work area and adhering to all safety protocols.
- Ability to develop and adhere to all production SOP’s for a variety of different products
- Attention to detail in maintaining a clean and sanitary food processing work space
- Operate a forklift to move both raw materials and finished product around the facility.
- Maintain proper utilization of Personal Protective equipment (PPE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and emergency response procedures (fire, medical, and theft)
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food processing, brewing, or beverage production with an emphasis on packaging operations.
- Familiar with operating packaging machinery, primarily for beverage canning. Preference will be given to those candidates with Wild Goose or similar canning line systems.
- Familiar with the Beverage Carbonation Process and the science behind it.
- Can define and execute CIP procedures in all parts of the operation.
- Packaging equipment troubleshooting experience
- Experience in the Cannabis Industry a plus.
- Strong ability to problem solve under the pressure of a tight production schedule.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Additional Physical Requirements:
- Moderate physical demands requiring frequent manual lifting/moving of materials weighing 5-55 pounds and occasional moving materials weighing 55-160 lbs.
- Work requires frequent standing and walking, frequent bending, reaching and occasional kneeling, and squatting.
- The facility is a manufacturing environment where exposure to moisture, heat, refrigerated areas, noise and moving machinery are frequent during the day.
