We are looking for a well-organized self-motivated individual who possesses an eye for detail to join our Inventory Team. This position will include but not be limited to intake orders, entering orders into Posabit software, inventory audits, stocking products, quality assurance, money management, and verifying the accuracy of all orders. The ideal candidate will have experience in various retail inventory processes, as well as have a vast knowledge of products within the Washington State Cannabis Industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verifies incoming order accuracies
- Verifies labels meet all legal requirements
- Ensure compliance with all WA State and WSLCB laws in the inventory department
- Inputs various types of data into software systems that display and control inventory
- Processes returns and destructions
- Responsible for coming up with ways to reduce shrink and product loss
- Corrects inventory issues that arise
- Help support sales staff when needed, all employees keep their own tips
- Maintain exceptional vendor relationships
- Understand and follow all company policies and rules
- Participate in All-Staff meetings
- Ensure the stockroom is properly organized
- Create and oversee weekly random audits of products, report losses
- Organize and participate in at a minimum 2 yearly overnight full-store inventory audits
- Maintain a clean and organized email and google drive
- Training new staff members regarding the Inventory Department

ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

- This position is allowed 14 days per year of unpaid leave. All time off must be requested 3 weeks in advance. The company’s blackout days may not be requested off.
