Job Title: Account Relationship Manager
We are hiring an Account Relationship Manager to support our growing Cannabis Benchmarks® and Hemp Benchmarks® divisions.
This role will manage our subscription accounts and strategic partnerships to increase revenue and customer retention.
Daily activities include proactive outreach, support activities and account planning in preparation for renewals. This role will analyze our customers and partners and identify, execute and report on new opportunities and risks to our internal teams.
This role will also manage our largest partner program, the Price Contributor Network (PCN), and be in charge of membership agreements, data collection logistics and member outreach and support.
Preferred experience in the cannabis or hemp industries and prior experience in an account management or similar role is essential to the success of this opportunity.
The preferred location for this role is in Boulder, Denver or Fort Collins, CO areas, however can be opened to multiple locations if it’s the right fit. This is a remote position requiring frequent interfacing with team members in the Front Range.
Core Responsibilities:
- Customer Account Management: manage subscription customer lifecycle, including renewals, retention and expansion efforts
- Manage PCN relationships: implement processes and guidelines, such as onboarding agreements, data collection logistics, member outreach and support
- Manage Partner and Association relationships: support mutually beneficial promotional and/or revenue producing initiatives
- Primary point for incoming inquiries, issues and feedback
- Use CRM to capture all interactions noted above
- Build strong relationships based on trust with key influencers and decision makers
- Assist Customer Support team
Daily Responsibilities:
- Liaison between internal and external parties to ensure successful execution
- Maintain client information and sales pipeline opportunities in our CRM
- Produce regular reports capturing goals, performance, expansion and risks across customers and partners
Qualifications:
- 2+ years in account management, customer success, business development / sales or similar role
- 2+ years working with CRM or similar tools
- Cannabis and/or hemp industry experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize conflicting customer requests
- Skilled at managing multiple accounts concurrently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated and collaborative
- Entrepreneurial attitude, ability to work independently as well as a remote team environment
