Position Summary/Objective
The MA East Wholesale Account Representative is responsible for leading and optimizing the organization's wholesale capabilities throughout Eastern Massachusetts. This position supports and consults with numerous groups and departments throughout Ethos and will work closely with Marketing, Cultivation, Compliance, Finance, and/or Legal. The MA East Wholesale Account Representative will develop strategies to exceed revenue targets by identifying new prospects and opportunities in the market. This position will identify, maintain, and grow strong business relationships with decision makers for managed accounts. We are building a strong ethical and team-oriented culture at Ethos Cannabis and are looking for this position to help lead and implement this vision.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated outside sales acumen and possesses relevant character traits as an outgoing, organized, self-motivated deal closer. Previous marijuana experience is a plus but not required; however, all candidates should have some familiarity and comfortability with the product.
Responsibilities
- Strategize, set, and achieve (even exceed) sales goals
- Attain conversational fluency with regards to the industry generally and our product portfolio specifically, including all form factors, attributes, effects, and technical data
- Educate, engage, and train all tiers of the wholesale channel on Ethos Cannabis brands and product lines to increase sell through of a product mix or portfolio of goods customized for the retail location and their customers
- Maintain an awareness of market behavior, knowledge of all aspects of the industry and sales trends, the competition and ability to communicate and drive a successful sales model that responds accordingly
- Proactively builds touchpoints and a weekly schedule to keep the market sales on track to hit all sales quotas and goals
- Set efficient delivery and order fulfillment deadlines, and manage expectations with the internal team, as well as the customer
- Provide input to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Reports to the Director of Wholesale
Qualifications Education:
- College degree strongly preferred
Work Experience:
- 1-3 years of Wholesale Account Management experience
- Experience with B2B deal negotiating, relationship management, inventory management/systems, and logistics
- Work history that demonstrates stability, progressive responsibility, and willingness to accept new duties

- Strong problem-solving skills including anticipatory thinking and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm composure
- Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively within a diverse, multicultural, multigenerational environment
Other Requirements:
- Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching is possible
- Significant amount of time traveling through Eastern Massachusetts
- Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Must pass stringent state background test requirements
Compensation:
- This position is classified as Exempt and is not eligible for overtime pay.
- This is a remote position with a significant amount of travel required.
