Job Description: (Seasonal position for Oct and Nov) The Post-Harvest Trimming and Packaging Technician is responsible for assisting the managers in the day-to-day functions of the packaging, trimming, and harvesting areas, as well as storing finished product, in accordance with all applicable state regulations.
Technicians will be asked to primarily care for plants, trim buds, weigh and package the finished product (in any form), as well as the handling of finished plants during harvest, and the proper disposal of waste. Technicians will also participate in the quality control process, labeling certain strains, batches, and attaching the state required numeric values to certain packaging.
Management reserves the right to assign other job duties as necessary. JOB TITLE: Post Harvest Trimming Technician

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Trimmer to join our team. In this position, you will tightly trim cannabis by hand for medicinal and retail shops, so you should have industry experience or be familiar with how trimmed cannabis flowers should look on the shelves. As you trim, you will organize the flowers, shake, and sort trimmings into bins that we will weigh with you at the end of your shift. You will be paid based on the weight you finish, so the quicker you are, the more money you can make. Applicants must be trustworthy and have positive energy. This job requires manual dexterity and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Tightly trim cannabis by hand for medicinal or retail purposes

Trimming & Post-Harvest Technician:
Reports to: Post Harvest Manager
Schedule: M-F 7:30AM – 3:30PM, weekends as needed
- Assisting in the harvest and post-harvest plant processing of cannabis.
- Fan leaf removal, harvest, drying, trimming, curing, weighing, packaging, labeling, recording, an inspection of product in addition to cleaning and sanitation.

- These responsibilities include trimming, assembling completed product materials into various containers and packages as well as ensuring that the appropriate quantity, weight, and type of product is packaged.
- This position works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity and acts with a professional regard to the management and use of all production facilities and processing equipment.
- All qualified applicants will be trained in the use of equipment for processing.
- Transport harvested plants to drying and hang to be dried.
- Weigh, package, label, record/track medical cannabis for distribution
