We are looking to employ an HR Generalist with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs. This role will report directly to the HR Director.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
路 May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate staff in the department.
路 May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
路 Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
路 Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
路 Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
路 Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
路 Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
路 Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
路 Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
路 Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
路 Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
路 Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
路 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
路 At least three years of human resource management and five years of HR experience preferred.
路 SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PHR, or other HR Certifications a plus.
Physical Requirements:
路 Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
路 Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
路 Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization鈥檚 facilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
