Essential Duties and Responsibilities
You will oversee the strategic and tactical execution of paid media campaigns across numerous platforms. You will be responsible for developing a go-to-market strategy for the paid search & paid social media marketing efforts for Green Roads. You will be expected to manage various paid media budgets, report to upper management on channel specific campaign performance and spend, use data to optimize campaigns, influence creative & content development aimed at reaching target markets, implement retargeting strategies, test new vendors, guide technical implementations, build audiences and lookalikes, launch, and manage campaigns with the goal of driving a strong ROAS.
- Run full funnel, cross-platform paid digital media strategies across Search & Social
- Oversee continuous improvement & optimization of campaigns. Make data driven decisions to target consumer audiences more effectively, benchmark, and track progress.
- Strong technical, analytical & reporting knowledge
- Effective campaign set up to track in Google Analytics and paid social buying platforms– Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads Manager, Snapchat Ads Manager, etc.
- Experience managing direct response & acquisition-based campaigns
- Ability to communicate performance & garner buy-in from senior business stakeholders
- Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to work well with other teams to execute campaigns on time
- Manage the daily campaign optimization efforts to ensure they are achieving the traffic, engagement and conversion goals set for each campaign.
- Review regular reporting to add insights and provide commentary to explain variations
- Keep current on the social media advertising industry and propose new ideas to further enhance campaign tactics and capabilities
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience and have had proven success running Paid Social & Paid Search campaigns for an ecommerce company
- Experience with a consumer goods eCommerce company strongly preferred, experience with CBD or other regulated markets preferred but not required
- Deep knowledge of the digital landscape across Paid Social
- Google Ads, Bing, and/or Facebook certification
- Experience with AdTech/data teams to prioritize your platform/measurement needs
- Comfortable working with team members at all levels, including senior management
- Experience working on e-commerce or lead generation campaigns
- Performance Display, DSP buying experience, & Vendor recommendations a plus
- Comfortability working in the CBD and recreational cannabis industries.
Technical Expertise
- Expert level mastery of AdWords, Facebook Ads and Google Analytics
- A strong understanding of brand measurement tools and how to measure/optimize
- Experience with BigCommerce or similar platform
- Manage the execution and reporting of beta testing and A/B testing.
- Experience with BI Tools (such as BigQuery, Tableau, Looker, Domo, etc.
