Job Title: Shift Lead – R. Greenleaf
Salary Range: $18.90
Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Store Manager
Location: Ruidoso, NM
Position Objective: R. Greenleaf’s Shift Leads are the front line of both customer service and company policy for the Organization’s clinic locations. A Shift Lead is expected to successfully perform all the duties of a Budtender, while also functioning as a liaison between Budtender and other management. Those in this position will also be expected to function as a Manager on Duty when assigned. Beyond assisting and educating the customers and medical patients of New Mexico, Shift Leads will be expected to assist with clinic personnel, cash deposits, and inventory, as necessary. Shift Leads are expected to adhere to HIPAA laws, be actively aware of their surroundings, and to work to complete the mission of R. Greenleaf, as well as the policies of the Organization.
Essential Functions: Preform all functions of a Peer Educator, as outlined in the attached schedule. (See Schedule A)
Assists with: Running Errands (as needed)
Transports, when and if needed.
Access and track cash and change for the registers.
The register tender and all daily cash deposits into the drop safe or bank.
All safety procedures in the clinic including monitoring all cameras and any other suspicious activity.
Ordering and maintaining all merchandise.
Oversight of website updates and menu board updates.
Oversight of staff, including performance and assignment of duties
Tracking of supplies and reporting needs to the Clinic Manager.
Document Control
Professional communication(written and verbal) with all levels of the organization.
Controls all patient documentation, including maintenance of forms and information storage.
Accurately completes incident reports and all other requested reports, as necessary.
Witnesses the documentation of personnel concerns/achievements as necessary.
Functions as Manager on Duty (as necessary): Solves employee disputes (with assistance from Upper Management and/or Human Resources)
Requests monetary needs, such as purchase requests, other supplies, etc.
Assists with patient issues.
Process Returns.
Processes Payroll
Maintain customer service standards including: Having a vast knowledge of the various protocols, rules and regulations, and practices of the NM Medical Cannabis program
Keeping a positive attitude when representing the organization
Being fair to all patients and employees and treating all individuals with respect
Patient-oriented and willing to go the extra mile with customer service
Ensure Company, Department of Health, and HIPAA policies are constantly being followed
Any other task assigned by management
Knowledge and Other Skills: 1+ Year(s) Retail Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Reliable source of transportation
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to stand for long periods of time, but the Organization will make reasonable accommodations
Excellent cash handling skills
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities, including the ability to work efficiently and accurately
Intermediate math proficiency
Ability to pass a state and federal background check, as well as possession of a New Mexico Driver’s license
Passing grades on both HIPAA exams and all applicable organizational competency exams
Working Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel): Must have open availability. Shifts range Monday – Sunday. 8-10 Hour shifts
Long periods of standing, in fast paced work environment
Must be able to lift at least 25lbs and be able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach
