Job Summary
The Sr. Director of Store Operations has leadership responsibility for all aspects of Ayr Wellness’ National Store Operations RTB (Run the Business) functions/team. This includes responsibility for partnering with the Retail VPs and local retail teams ensuring an operations leadership role in the development and execution of key corporate initiatives and RTB activities as well as leading and developing all direct reports (as added)
Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership
- Provide leadership and support on Ayr brand initiatives to ensure the field is positioned to execute with excellence.
- Build and foster collaborative relationships with all brand team members, field leadership and home office departments to stay informed and abreast of new initiatives and business processes.
- Lead teams to overcome obstacles through flexibility in leadership style, effective negotiation and decision making.
- Coach and develop Store Operations Team (as members are added)
Project Management and Execution
- Lead and deliver project work plans that include clear objectives and timelines; identify needed resources and provide accurate cost estimates. Communicate progress and results.
- Overall responsibility for Customer Transaction Process and POS/Seed to Sale development support.
- Partner with Retail VPs on execution of store opening, closing, remodel and relo processes.
- Overall responsibility for development and integrity of all store Policy and Procedures
- Partner with Compliance team on Risk Management/Loss Prevention
- Maintain effective working relationships with Corporate Office Departments.
- Apply knowledge and experience to evaluate alternative solutions to drive positive project outcomes.
- Oversee direction and ensure execution of project plans.
Store and Field Leadership Support
- Implement methodologies, which enable field and stores to get answers and support in a timely manner.
- Create an environment that fosters feedback from field leadership to generate process improvement.
- Represent the voice of the field
Process Improvement
- Establish processes and tools to efficiently analyze overall effectiveness.
- Ensure field feedback on all initiatives is captured and incorporated for process improvement.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of store operations experience with a minimum of 5+ years of stores / field leadership experience with proven ability to drive results and performance through building, leading, developing, and coaching direct and indirect teams to achieve objectives.
- Demonstrated success with planning and implementation of high priority/complex projects supported by strong project management skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strong facilitation, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments at once
- Strong ability to influence and drive change across multiple functions in a dynamic environment
