Job Summary
Ayr Wellness is seeking a Senior Director of Field Marketing to join our growing marketing organization. This role will be instrumental in managing our promotional activity across various geographic regions, ensuring that all local initiatives align with national marketing strategies. This role will manage multiple regional marketing teams and report directly to the SVP of Marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage regional marketing teams, executing promotional & field marketing activities across the US
- Evaluate key performance metrics and identify efficiencies, areas of development and ongoing strategies for achievement of project goals, with an emphasis on increasing share of market, customer lifetime value, and retention rates across each region.
- Lead the development and execution of annual marketing calendars for each region.
- Ensure brand alignment and consistency in all marketing initiatives and content to continually build strong brand equity
- Work closely with regional retail and marketing teams to ensure successful execution of brand programs including new product/promotion rollouts
- Supports the analysis of promotions, marketing programs, and new product introductions and effectively measures their success to help gain greater understanding of local sales, traffic, and profitability
- Collaborates closely with Digital and E-Commerce, Brand Management, Knowledge and Insights, and Marketing Operations teams for alignment on national strategies.
- Champions and supports national brand, product, and retail initiatives and translates those for excellence in execution on the local level.
- Performs regular visits to regional teams to build deeper local knowledge and foster cross-functional relationships
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years' marketing experience managing multiple markets and programs/promotions
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, quick-changing environment
- Self-starting, forward-thinking idea generator with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Fully engaged, team player with excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to create local activation strategies based on national initiatives
- Cannabis experience preferred, but not required
- Position is full-time.
