Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Sales Performance
- Grow and manage a book of business through cold calling, referrals, and lead generation
- Ability to generate qualified leads and prioritize leads received from upper management
- Schedule meetings via conference call, in-person, virtual meeting, etc.
- Manage and overcome objections applying technical knowledge when needed
- Utilize Salesforce as the primary CRM and update all sales efforts daily
- Close opportunities and manage contract negotiations
- Partner with the CEO and Sales Management to improve customer retention and ultimately drive sales on high volume accounts
- Report any major account changes and/or updates to upper management
Industry Knowledge and Education
- Stay educated on product knowledge, market trends, industry compliance, and state regulations that may impact the payment industry
- Commit to fair selling practices by offering appropriate solutions to clients, based on their specific business needs
- Share industry-related news and success stories with the company
- Respect and maintain confidentiality related to company proprietary information, or that of our customers or partners
Time Management
- Work efficiently utilizing tools like Gmail calendar and Salesforce Extension for Gmail Inbox to manage tasks and meetings
- Prioritize time with a focus on customer experience rather than sticking to a daily habit
- Strongly encouraged to attend and participate in scheduled company meetings and trainings
- Coordinate weekly meetings with upper management to discuss client needs and action items with specified timeline
Customer Service
- Provide a high level of customer service during every step of the sales funnel
- Set an example for others by following the golden rule, identifying when to take the high road and follow through on promises
- Exhibit positivity at all times and be genuine in all communications with customers, coworkers, and leadership
- Handle customer challenges in a proactive manner and be prepared with potential solutions that ensure trust
- Practice integrity in all decision making and interactions with Planetary ATM employees and clients
Successful Candidates will have:
路 Minimum of two years in a selling role with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and overperforming in a competitive market
路 Experience in the cannabis industry or related field is a plus
路 Exceptional customer service and account management skills required
路 Must have basic knowledge in Microsoft Excel
路 Bachelor鈥檚 Degree required
路 Excellent time management and organizational skills
路 Salesforce experience is a plus
Compensation: Base salary plus commission based on performance. We are a start-up organization whose growth potential is uncapped.
