Position Summary:
The Production Laboratory Aide is responsible for the extraction and refinement of cannabinoids and terpenes from cannabis plant material. This position will require the application of chemical and physical separation techniques using state of the art equipment.
Essential Functions:

Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a professional extraction laboratory, which may be odorous at times.
- Due to the nature of the environment, must not be allergic to cannabis or cannabis derivatives.
- Employee must be able to work in tight spaces.
- May require sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Some weekends and overtime may be required.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions as well as stooping, bending over, and/or crouching.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and product.
- Must be able to work in temperatures as low as 55F for up to 2 hours at a time.
Required Education and Experience:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree, preferably in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or applicable science field preferred.
- Relevant industry or equivalent materials handling and processing experience: 1 year.
- Familiarity with EH&S or equivalent standard laboratory practices and procedures preferred.
- Training in complex chemical separations and manufacturing processes or equivalent knowledge preferred.
- Experience with quality control and quality assurance practices highly preferred.
- Experience using Metrc track-and-trace software preferred.
- Combination of experience and education will be considered.
Additional Requirements:
- Nevada driver's license of State ID card.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
- Must be approved by the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board to receive and maintain an agent card.
