Position: Dispensary Employee
-Entry level position
Summary of Position
Dispensary Employees are the face of the Company and usually present a first impression for patients, caregivers and regulatory officials. Under the direction of a Lead Employee, Assistant Manager or Dispensary Manager, Employees assist patients and caregivers, and provide administrative and other services that support dispensary operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Frequently maintain dispensary's cleanliness, i.e. dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and sanitization.
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal communication skills
- Provide a positive and informative patient care experience
- Provide educational assistance/ cannabis consultations regarding specific administrative routes, ailments, types of cannabis and their respective effects.
- Develop and maintain rapport with our patients, vendors, service providers and staff
- Ensure patient concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate member requests and/or problems to management when needed.
- Collect and properly process patient files and preform detailed verification of patients while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Demonstrates exceptional computer literacy (POS, Email, Microsoft Office, Google Docs)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must have a strong work ethic, with an all-hands-on-deck mentality
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Qualified applicants must be over the age of 21.
- College degrees preferred.
- Must be a United States Citizen, or authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass an extensive criminal background check.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the Dispensary.
Experience
- Experience in the health care or retail industry, and a genuine passion for helping others.
Skills
- Proper license and/or eligibility.
- Experiences in retail sales preferred.
- Knowledge of marijuana strains, (indicas, sativas, hybrids), edibles, extracts, and current products on the market.
- Dispensary-related experience a plus.
- Must be friendly, outgoing, trustworthy, dependable, and hardworking.
- Must be able to provide compassionate patient service.

Physical Requirements
