About bio365 LLC:

bio365 produces bio365 and GreenTree branded horticultural media (potting soil) to exacting quality standards in an indoor controlled environment. bio365 is growing, with a newly opened facility in Cortland, NY. Our soils are sold in retail stores and business-to-business across the nation and are used for a variety of purposes, from home gardening, to commercial vegetable propagation, to medical cannabis, and microgreens production.

We seek to hire a manufacturing and production assistant/operator, working at our Cortland, NY facility. This position reports to the production team leader and facility manager. This is a day shift position. Weekends may be required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operating machinery and production equipment
• Operate a forklift to load machinery, organize the warehouse, or load and unload trucks
• Precisely follow all quality-control and inventory-tracking protocols
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Follow all safety protocols
• Work efficiently under a tight production schedule

Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating machinery
• Aptitude for operating and maintaining machinery and equipment
• Forklift experience required
• Good communication and flexibility to work as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to perform manual heavy lifting or shoveling on occasion
• Effective time management skills and ability to plan ahead
• Willingness to maintain neat and organized work and storage areas
• Availability to work a weekend shift
• Flexibility around hours and willingness to work overtime
