Must have strong teamwork, productivity, and time management skills. This team member will possess exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills, and is result driven. This position will work alongside management to hire and train sales team members as needed. The Marketing, Branding & Sales manager will be responsible for portraying the brands CDP, LLC offers as well as the cannabis industry in a way that embodies the company’s ethos and identity. Possess the ability to ascertain the needs of new and existing customers and promote new products that meet those needs. Ability to strategize thinking outside the box, have a creative edge, exceptional leadership skills are essential.

Job Duties include:
- Conduct ongoing state and national cannabis market research to identify customer trends competitor offerings and demographic data
- Coordinate with leadership team to create branding ideas, graphic designs, sales/promotional and advertising materials
- Maintain current and discover new effective marketing and promotional channels, including social media platforms to be used to relay product messages to our current and new customers
- Create goals and objectives to approach customers through appropriate marketing channels
- Investigate the performance of our company’s marketing and sales campaigns and strategies through evaluating key performance metrics
- Create innovative sales and marketing campaigns depending on robust data and present recommendations to the leadership team
- Maintain and establish strong relationships with current and new customers through networking and prospecting
- Lead the company’s efforts in outbound and internal promotional events and staff events by displaying expertise in event planning, advertising, optimization and content development
- Plan, strategies and execute marketing designs and activities to establish and maintain brand presence in the current and changing markets
- Define product strategies and roadmaps
- Research and determine product weaknesses and areas to be modified
- Develop sales tools and collaterals
- Develop effective product positioning in the market
- Conduct competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation, and consumer insight development

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing or sitting, (up-to 8-10 hours per day)
- Travel and operate promotional events throughout the state
- Work indoors and/or outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, walk and drive for long periods of time
Licensing/Certificate Requirements:
- Must maintain a clean state and federal criminal record
- Must hold a valid NM Food Handlers Certificate
- Must maintain other required licensing and or certificates as directed by NMRLD/CCD and CDP,LLC
Education: Preferred minimum Associate/Bachelor’s degree and experience in sales and marketing.
