General Purpose
The position of the Inventory Agent is to maintain and secure cannabis and non-cannabis inventory while strictly adhering to state and local regulations and law. Inventory Agents assist with receiving orders, quality control, inventory audits, etc. The Inventory Agent is responsible for the accuracy, organization and attention to detail involving all cannabis and non-cannabis products.
Responsibilities
- Promote a positive work environment that puts the customer or patient experience at the forefront and adheres to the established policies and procedures.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all inventory operations, policies, and procedures
- Establish and maintain working relationships and provide assistance as requested to managers, supervisors and employees on an ongoing basis
- Verify that each incoming order matches the Buyer’s purchase order/invoice and ensure that products are entered correctly from cost to naming conventions into the company’s inventory system.
- Maintains appropriate grooming and uniform standards
- Verify cannabis product batch weights and manage daily/monthly product counts within the company’s inventory system and Metrc;
- Ensuring that all products being replenished to the sales floor have been properly labeled with the appropriate barcode, and are accounted for within the company’s inventory system and Metrc;
- Be the voice of The Sanctuary Dispensaries and accurately and professionally represent our core values and morals
- Keep any relevant logs up to date and compliant with local and state regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Helps support other facility employees and staff by performing other tasks as apparent or as delegated by MOD.
- Inform management of reoccurring issues with vendors, equipment, or platform software
- Always maintain strict confidentiality of customer/patient information
- Attend mandatory training and staff meetings
- Other tasks and duties as assigned by management

Requirements, Education, Preferred Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 years of inventory experience
- Preferred cannabis inventory experience
- Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations
- Required to undergo a criminal background check and appropriate state badging (as directed by state ordinances)
- Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and on a team, communicating effectively on the job through daily logs and using the chain of command.
- Ability to work accurately with time contraints
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment often during busy and stressful circumstances
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately
- Must be able to walk, carry, bend, lift and push/pull as needed
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong organizational, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, holiday and overtime shifts
